How do you cash it in in a commercial society? | | | | | Yet the Democratic party insidiously & actively undermined him at every turn in the last 2 elections - not really permitting voters to decide and as I alluded to earlier, the bigger problem is the two party system that purports to be anything other than 2 sides of the same coin

Arguing that the system is wrong because there is no party offering an alternative view that has failed to gain any support makes no sense.
It’s like the Irish Freedom Party’s claim that they’d definitely get candidates elected to parliament if they were on the ballot paper. Ignoring that fact that in an average constituency of 90k voters, they cannot find the 300 voters required to get them on the ballot paper in the first place.

There is more on offer but it doesn't seem to gain any traction. There isn't enough interest.

It's an extremely demanding job. For example, look at the before and after pictures of Barack Obama. An age limit would be justified.

I agree - but how do you implement it when you ban people talking about age (unpc), you ban people talking about color or gender (unpc) yet nominate them exactly for those reasons..you ban people talking about incompetence (subjective) yet nominate them "because potential".. I understand the appeal of Trump's campaign strategy because he is all but pc. He talks about getting things done, not just a potential. Tbh, I don't know how much Biden has done or will really do, even if it is his intention.

If you had a way of forseeing their deaths, would you have blocked them from office?

What may be good for the country may not be so great for them personally. Not sure that I like this expected self sabotage - the rat race work tempo and no private life is already notorious in the US (and elsewhere). Whether that's real productivity, dunno. Obama could have aged like this even as a non prez.
