Its not anecdotal. They are photographs I've taken myself from election day 2019 outside or near a polling station in London (Disraeli Road library if you really want to know). They are clearly and obviously against the rules. That's first hand evidence of rule breaking.

This was not a one off. They were all around the place. Its not even limited to one seat. At least in London, there are groups that have zero respect for electoral law.

I used felonies because I was responding to a post using that terminology. I'm British.

If you want to believe that there are never any electoral offences fine. Do so. You are wrong.
Absolutely irrelevant to the subject being discussed. Please stay on topic.

Left-winggy of course!

I really doubt Chuff's left wing though.

But it's funny, I wonder whose reincarnations some of the new members are.

All they'd need to do is to block his access to his fridge.
I'm sure he can get McDonalds delivered. Or by the sounds of it he could microwave a steak and cover it in ketchup.
Better would be to change the wifi password and block mobile internet in the place.

Please describe to me what a "left wing bubble" is, in the context of what I wrote.

Oh come on Full Circle, you trying to hold the moral high ground, after all the terrible things you write on a near-daily basis, is beyond hilarious.

I genunely, hand on heart and truthfully hope that Trumps family completely falls apart and he ends his days alone and in abject misery. And I am being kind there, because the best outcome (and delicious irony) would be for him to get Coronavirus and succumb to it like all of the other thousands of innocent people who died because of his bungling and wilful neglect during the handling of the pandemic.

It's an old aviation term that's gone out of favour for "OTBD LHS Glass canopy"
The germans had them in the second word war, but of course they were on the right wing.

It's likely already blocked.

DC is notorious for having the highest density of IMSI-catchers per square mile of any city. Because a lot of them are (likely) deployed by one of US's own intelligence agencies (who obviously don't want to hand the FCC a list of them), the FCC has refused to try to shut them down.

In my home state the cost of the actual state ID (the document issued if one does not have the default ID, a driver's license) is $5 or $10 for under 18s, $20 for those older, free if you are over 65, homeless, or incarcerated. But as above, the real cost to obtain the document is, for many, much higher.
Just get a US passport, or doesn't that count as ID?

(actually, when I went to buy my first legal beer after turning 18, I presented my passport, and they asked if I had a drivers licens, which I did albeit hand-written with no photo, that was fine)

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

The GOP led Senate Intelligence Committee today released their report.

Quote:
It detailed significant ties between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign, particularly with former campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Among the probe's newest revelations is that Konstantin V. Kilimnik, an associate of Manafort's, was a "Russian intelligence officer." Manafort's contacts also posed a “grave counterintelligence threat,” according to the report.

"Manafort hired and worked increasingly closely with a Russian national, Konstantin Kilimnik. Kilimnik is a Russian intelligence officer," reads the report.

"Manafort worked with Kilimnik starting in 2016 on narratives that sought to undermine evidence that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. election," the report added.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

"It's not an election about policy, it's an election about character"...

Finally, some sane and rational Republicans are coming out of the woodwork and speaking out against Trump...

If Republics and supports a Democrat, and will risk transferring power away form their party, simply to get someone out of the Whitehouse... then you know things are REALLY bad. However, better late than never...

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

More detailed analysis of the GOP led Senate Intelligence Committee report here.

Quote:
US Senate report goes beyond Mueller to lay bare Trump campaign's Russia links

Bipartisan intelligence panel says that Russian who worked on Trump’s 2016 bid was career spy, amid a stunning range of contacts

It lays out a stunning web of contacts between Trump, his top election aides and Russian government officials, in the months leading up to the 2016 election.
Also a "The Hill" analysis.

I wrote "the illiberal left" for a reason, rather than "the left". I agree with the rest of what you wrote.

I see "illiberal left", "extreme left", "those supporting cancel culture", possibly along with other terms, as by and large congruent and basically synonymous. The problem is the totalitarian tendencies that keep getting stronger, with the advent of "cancel culture" they have reached fascistoid territory. Since "illiberal left" makes the issue the most clear (the least ambiguous) I've come to prefer that term over the others.
To get back to Trump it seems he has now joined the cancel culture so it is no longer synonymous with "illiberal left", "extreme left".

With apologies to Mr Barnum and Mr. Bailey, I believe a Republican sucker is born every minute.

And having your name engraved on the surface of a brick that will be stuck to another brick ... Why?

And please correct me if I am wrong, but the wall isn’t going to be brick anyway.
