Or, more likely, the Obama fan on facebook, was just wrong. It does happen. He could have been lying.
or, more likely, he genuinely believes what he is saying because he cannot contemplate that such things could have happened under Obama.

On any other day I'd find this fascinating that someone in power has called out the military industrial complex of the US. This looks more like Trumps paranoid rambling about everyone against him.
And this isn't even an original thought from Trump, as I guess you're alluding—in 1961, Ike Eisenhower devoted a large chunk of his farewell speech at the end of his second term as President to decrying the military–industrial complex, warning about its effects on the living standards of ordinary Americans.

It shows just how far the Republican party has moved to the right in less than 60 years, that Bernie Sanders of all people used Eisenhower's speech to promote his ideology!

The last I heard his support among black voters is about 9 percentage points higher than it was for Romney.
So, Trump is running at about 9% with Black voters, then.

Is that what supporters of Trump have come to, comparing him with a losing Republican candidate who was soundly thrashed by the Democrat whom Trump hates but didn't have the guts to stand against in an election?

Polls suggest about 10 percent of black voters both nationally and in key swing states with large black electorates are supporting Trump.
That is similar to 2016 as well and again reflects broader partisan dynamics — surveys over the last three decades have shown about one of every 10 Black Americans identifies as a Republican.

Trump has a lot of catching up to do, complicated by the push for early voting; North Carolina already sent out their ballots by mail

Trump launches an unprecedented attack on the military leaders he himself appointed.

"I'm not saying the military's in love with me -- the soldiers are, the top people in the Pentagon probably aren't because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy," Trump told reporters at a White House news conference.
He is correct.

He is correct.
So why did he sign off on the $738 billion budget for 2019, with another $740 billion proposed for 2020, emphasizing "building more nuclear weapons, preparing for exotic flavors of warfare, and expanding America’s global military presence"?

This is the largest annual spending on the military since WWII. Is Trump complicit, or stupid? Or maybe just a liar?

Hereditary President for life Empress Trump might be more along the lines of what he'd like. All he needs to do now is get rid of them pesky Jedi, and then he'll unleash the power of a fully operational government backed Trump organisation. Stargazers will be amazed "That's no moon, thats a zero g golf course".

Yeah, and he's being a bit of a hypocrite because according to Trump's stock portfolio, he himself invests in military defense contractors, such as Boeing.

http://smartdividendstocks.com/donal...ock-portfolio/

"The Boeing Company is an American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, telecommunications equipment, and missiles worldwide."

"Boeing Integrated Defense Systems was formed in 2002 by combining the former "Military Aircraft and Missile Systems" and "Space and Communications" divisions. Boeing Defense, Space & Security makes Boeing the second-largest defense contractor in the world and was responsible for 45% of the company's income in 2011."

No wonder he wanted to create "Space Force." Boeing won the contract to build its payloads.

Looks like he also has a lot of investments in the oil industry and could also potentially profit from the pandemic as well, considering his investments in pharmaceutical and medical supply companies.

We vote in North Carolina. Our absentee packets were sent out via email over the weekend, and there‘s an online voting portal that goes live tomorrow (Sept 9).

US Department of Justice slowly transforming into Trump's private lawyers
Quote:
Justice Department wants to defend Trump in E. Jean Carroll defamation lawsuit.

Carroll, an advice columnist who for years wrote for Elle Magazine, alleged in a lawsuit filed last fall that Trump sexually assaulted her in a dressing room at luxury Manhattan department store Bergdorf Goodman in the 1990s.
Source

I do not know since when defending sexual assaults is part of the US Presidents official duties.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Ginsberg, a top Republican election lawyer who has represented four Republican presidential candidates, slammed President Donald Trump's claims of widespread voter fraud in a new op-ed saying it lacks evidence and is "unsustainable."

But it not sexual assault, the statue of limitation expired on that long ago.

She said he assaulted her, he called her a liar so she is suing him for defamation.

Since the 'lie' was uttered while he was president, the DOJ believes they have a role to play.

The DOJ wants to move it from a state court to federal court, which will make the suit moot, as you cannot sue the federal government for defamation.

I'm hoping the lower court will tell the DOJ that the states are sovereign in these matters.

But that would be appealed kicking the ball back into the long grass.

What scandal? His camp will see him as being prudent, everyone else will see it as business as usual. Lies, lies and even more lies.
Up to July he had exceeded 20,000 in 45 months. Then came the Convention.
