Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Trump bowing to his Russian masters again
Quote:
Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

The Cyber Hack is far greater in the Fake News Media than in actuality.
I have been fully briefed and everything is well under control.

Russia, Russia, Russia is the priority chant when anything happens because Lamestream is, for mostly financial reasons, petrified of discussing the possibility that it may be China (it may!).
There could also have been a hit on our ridiculous voting machines during the election, which is now obvious that I won big, making it an even more corrupted embarrassment for the USA.
@DNI_Ratcliffe
@SecPompeo
Note, both Ratcliffe and Pompeo have publicly blamed Russia for what is believed to be the biggest hack ever of US Federal agencies and major companies.

One of the enduring mysteries of Trump's presidency is his continued vocal support of Russia, they must have something good on him!

Actually, I believe a very smart move for Biden would be to treat Trump like Nixon and pardon him for any crimes committed during his Presidency.

That would be an extreme humiliation for Donny and also leave him open to punishment for any crimes committed prior to his Presidency.

The Senate blocked two nominations during a rare Saturday session yesterday after GOP absences (12 Republicans and Dem Vice President-elect Kamala Harris) left Republicans unable to confirm President Trump's picks.
Little media speculation about why so many GOP Senators were MIA, hopefully, they were showing indifference to Trump.

I didn't know Kamala had defected to the GOP! That must be quite a blow for Biden!

Which nominations was the Senate considering? (Ouch, grammatically correct, but that sounds horrible!)

Deutsche Bank says Trump's private bankers have resigned.

Deutsche Bank employees in charge of lending to President Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner have resigned, Deutsche Bank announced Tuesday.

Daniel Hunter, a spokesman for the bank, said in a statement that “Rosemary Vrablic and Dominic Scalzi have tendered their resignations to Deutsche Bank effective as of year-end, which was accepted by the bank."

Vrablic and Scalzi joined the bank a decade ago,
The nature of the relationship between Deutsche Bank and the Trump Organization is the focus of an investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James and the Manhattan District Attorney's office.

Mafia grandfather strikes again.

President Trump on Tuesday granted clemency to three former Republican congressmen as well as two individuals charged as part of former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, George Papadopoulos and Alex van der Zwaan.

Trump granted a full pardon to former California GOP Rep. Duncan Hunter, who pleaded guilty to misusing campaign funds in 2019. He also granted a pardon to former New York GOP Rep. Chris Collins, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit securities fraud and lying to the FBI in 2019 and is currently serving a 26-month sentence.

Additionally, Trump commuted the sentence of former Texas GOP Rep. Steve Stockman, who was convicted in 2018 of money laundering, conspiracy and other charges related to a scheme to defraud charitable donors.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) released a statement;

“Trump is doling out pardons, not on the basis of repentance, restitution or the interests of justice, but to reward his friends and political allies, to protect those who lie to cover up him,........."

“During the Mueller investigation, Trump’s lawyer floated a pardon to Manafort. Manafort withdrew his cooperation with prosecutors, lied, was convicted, and then Trump praised him for not ‘ratting.’ Trump’s pardon now completes the corrupt scheme. Lawless until the bitter end,” Schiff tweeted Wednesday.

Trump ally and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who prosecuted Charles Kushner at the time, said his crimes were among the most “loathsome” he had dealt with.

I do not have the adjectives for this.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

If there's anything positive to take away from Trump's slew.of pardons, it's this: how many US presidents have granted pardons in any period other than their final weeks as a lame duck president, either having been voted out or in the final phase of their second term?

This is Trump's tacit admission that he's rapidly on the way out.

So apparently there were 5 Blackwater guys sentenced for the Iraq shooting of civilians. Trump pardoned all - except for the one guy who cooperated with the investigation and presumably showed some remorse.

Yes, underscoring my point; Clinton pardoned Rich on 20 January 2001, literally hours before Dubya took office.

He is just emphasizing that people who cooperate with law and order do not get his pardons while the others like Manafort, Stone, and Flynn do get pardons.

Another example,

The U.S. Supreme Court has been totally incompetent and weak on the massive Election Fraud that took place in the 2020 Presidential Election.
We have absolute PROOF, but they don’t want to see it - No “standing”, they say.
If we have corrupt elections, we have no country!

The three Supreme Court Judges I put on the court now have lifetime appointment and do not care about a loser reality TV host who will be out of a job on January 20th and the subject of at least a dozen criminal indictments.

I guess that's the main challenge that lies ahead of Biden. He'll have to replace someone who succeeded creating a "cult"....

Yesterday's man ranting into the void.

Weak and tired Republican “leadership” will allow the bad Defense Bill to pass.
Say goodbye to VITAL Section 230 termination, your National Monuments, Forts (names!) and Treasures (inserted by Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren), 5G, and our great soldiers being removed and brought home from foreign lands who do NOTHING for us.
A disgraceful act of cowardice and total submission by weak people to Big Tech.
Negotiate a better Bill, or get better leaders, NOW!
Senate should not approve NDAA until fixed!!!
GOP leaders seem to be slowly accepting it is now time to ignore Donny and to move on.

Mitch McConnell seems to be confident he has the Senate majority to overcome Donny's Defence Bill veto.
