oh but where else can you actually hear anybody stand up for Trump? Nowhere right? How often that does happen? Never? Not often enough right? Not often.

I mean, its a mess, what do you want, your own echo chamber? Its a mess right? Bad! Bad stuff! Failing!
Reasonable discussion on the thread would be a start instead of you strangling the life out of any post which disagrees with you, your theory that it will be some kind of unquantifiable 'fun', as well as presenting your idle musings as such rather than indisputable 'facts'.

That would be a start.

Ironically, you have been the one putting the most effort in to turn it into an echo chamber. I'm surprised you've not given up and headed over to some other forum where every other word is MAGA. You would get the attention you clearly crave and everyone would agree with you.

I don't think people get the hilarity of Trump's humor.

This

Mocks this....

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...umer/97275048/

Maybe its an inside joke, but it clearly calls out the ridiculousness of Schumer and Pelosi. Its the same bunch of people that bombed many of those 7 countries, Obama included.

Soundgrounder, maybe if you change your avatar to Pelosi, I might actually hear you.

I don't think I want to be part of any of your weird fantasies - see one of your fan club instead...

Given your behaviour over the thread, you don't really listen to anyone apart from yourself anyway.

Wrong.

I was bored, waiting for a connecting flight in Hamburg Airport last Friday afternoon, when the 30-something guy opposite me in the lounge was defending Trump to his friend. The lad next to me joined in the conversation then asked his dad, who was a strongly built 55-65yr old man, for his opinion. So now, there's 4 Americans discussing Trump and several of us listening in.

The older guy said he's an ex marine, and all Trump wants to do is be remembered. His fear was that Trump would be remembered for inciting a conflict, putting thousands of American boots on the ground until the US was confronted with lines of American troops being beheaded in the desert. He said, at that point, Trump should be tried for treason, but the trick is, stopping him ever getting to that point.

...and then our flight boarded...

Besides yourself and a few others here, I've heard two Americans and one South African say anything positive about Trump. Anything....!

Because Trump seems to be aligning his strategies (and businesses) with Erdogan although not entirely voluntary

In 2012, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presided over the opening ceremonies and met with Trump. But in June of last year, Erdogan called for the Trump name to be removed from the complex because of his anti-Muslim rhetoric.

In a telephone call with Erdogan, Trump passed on compliments to the Turkish president from a senior official with his company’s business partner on the Istanbul project. That Trump delivered messages from his business partner to Erdogan has been reported in numerous media outlets in Turkey

If Erdogan’s government puts more pressure on the [Dogan] company that’s paying millions of dollars to Trump and his children, revenue flowing from the tower complex in Istanbul could be cut off. That means Erdogan has leverage with Trump,

Russian cybersecurity experts suspected of treason linked to CIA
Sergei Mikhailov and Dmitry Dokuchayev accused of betraying oaths and working with US intelligence agency, report says.

Sergei Mikhailov was deputy head of the FSB security agency’s Centre for Information Security. His arrest was reported in a series of leaks over the past week, along with that of his deputy and several civilians, but Tuesday’s news went much further.
So did these people tell the CIA about the Russian hacking of the US election?
Or is it more subtle and the Russians will claim the hacking was a CIA false flag operation involving the arrested people

Even, as I'm sure it will, parliament will only confirm the visit, it's still hilarious they still have to debate a visit by the US president.

Top Iraqi general Kennani (works with American military) kept from visiting US, where his family was relocated for safety. Kenani said: “We thought we were partners with our American friends, and now we realize that we’re just considered terrorists.”

LMFAO, its the information age baby, and in this age we all have a voice, even the cockwombles sadly get their say. So its a whole lot easier to mobilise people now, you know with social media and the like, which is a good thing, except when it gets used maliciously to troll and spread hate n lies n stuff like that.

Just to answer your question, I am sure people went out and protested when some of these dictators made their state visits, but at the time of their visits whatever they were doing was probably not as widely known or reported. But then again, its the British government that should be held accountable for knowingly doing business with tyrants, not the people who are protesting.
