Also, while the CBP is busy doing extra questioning based on those seven countries, how many "bad dudes" from other countries have entered the U.S. without an extra blink?
FTFY -- it's important to get the language to the correct level of statesmanship and gravitas.

Since it's Friday and we should be positive ahead of the weekend, you know which one of Trump's decisions this week I thought was actually OK? Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court. He's right-leaning, but with a much more complex record than Scalia, who was just a rubber stamp for neo-con policy. Gorsuch has ruled against government overreach in multiple instances (which will be much needed with Trump's administration) and appears to be a man of principle.
This is all I really wanted from Trump, to be honest. And then maybe another in case Ruth Ginsburg passes.

As for a lot of the other things he's been doing, it sure looks like an awful lot of Presidential and Federal overreach.

Kellyanne Conway just invented a terrorist attack to justify the travel ban. You can't make this stuff up.

Edit: except she did, my apologies

To be honest she didn't 'invent a terrorist attack', she just mis-used some facts and words to warp a true incident to better fit her/their agenda.

With all statements by politicians on both sides, this is nothing too new, a quick google search really clears it up though

These were her very words:

“I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee programme after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalised and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre”

I think that pretty much falls into the category of "invention".

Yup, the "Bowling Green" part probably is what would otherwise be an immaterial mix-up, confirm and move on. Usually.

Nonetheless there was no travel ban in 2011 as a consequence. What did happen was a re-screening of those previously accepted and tougher screening going forward.

Add her "alternative facts" and it's easy to see why she's not just let off the hook. She gets what she sow.

It's ironic that nutjob conspiracy theorists spend much of their time trying to persuade us that mass shootings didn't happen, and here we have a senior government advisor inventing one that never did.

I hope you keep that well-established practice
I certainly will.

The only problem with the term "lie" is that it requires awareness that what's said is indeed not true. Thoguh at times that detail can be assumed.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

The Trump administration needs to be careful otherwise the real story of 9/11 might come out by accident. It's already good that they are bringing to light massacres on US soil that were covered up by Obama.

New T R U M P jokes:

Donald Trump on a field trip visiting a sausage factory:

The owner proudly explains the level of automation.....

"You need to push the pig inside. The machine does all the work..
Lo, you have the sausage come out"

Trump: "I want to make America Great Again! Is it possible to push the
sausage in, the pig comes out....?"

Factory Owner: "Yes it is possible. Your father tried it years ago, and he
succeeded...!"

Exactly 71 years ago!!!!!

Trump has talked about re-opening the 9/11 investigation and courted the likes of Alex Jones who believe it is an inside job. That could be interesting.

Much as I disliked GWB, I've never understood the mentality of people who wish to believe it was an inside job.

I agree that she has bastardized facts----as I put it earlier: warped.

Most arguments beyond that are pedantic (much like the use of 'invention'):

There was a six-month ban. This is true, although it wasn't by any means as absolute of a ban as Trump's is (which also isn't an absolute ban either). Obama added stricter guidelines after it was found that the individuals whom committed the acts were found to have gotten through the borders. This is also a 'ban' for individuals who have the characteristics of those killers. Would these new guidelines have stopped them? Possibly! Would Trump's guidelines have stopped them from settling in the US, probably. They are all different levels of bans.

I'm still trying to work out how he reaches that conclusion in the aforementioned tweet.
Thanks, I read the tweet several times but could not extract any meaning!
