Before everybody jumps down my throat, please note I am not claiming everybody with a mental illness is dangerous; the vast majority are not! But even if it is less than 1% that is still a lot of people

Neither are quick reads, but very interesting and provide some helpful background on these two individuals who have the president's ear on just about every issue.

I have a feeling it will come down to the pres of the UC resigning.

The way they kick up absurdly high security fees to the student organisations inviting speakers with differing opinions (on so many of these events) is interesting.

How did they know that there would be professional and militant rioters seriously destroying stuff. Those have nothing to do with debates and aren't interested. Who invited them and what did cops do.

The current Chancellor actually sent a letter of resignation in August of last year, due to pressure he was under for a myriad of things. Not sure how he got the job in the first place, frankly.

It really appears that the police were holding back, as they only made ONE arrest. How can this be, when you have TWO police departments with officers in the area (UC Berkeley has its own police force and the City of Berkeley has its own). Crimes were committed on and off campus. And numerous assaults occurred.

Makes NO sense to me and I hope that something comes out!

Absolutely agree. By the same token, a woman in a pantsuit - or a judge's robe, or a policeman uniform, or an ER scrub, or a Marine combat gear,... - should not enjoy less respect for wearing the same, from the President or anyone else.

Not that there aren't more worrisome things blurted out from the White House on a daily basis as it is, so at the end, the President's unsolicited fashion advice is just that.

Why not, surely private institutions are totally within their rights to disallow access for whatever reason.

Free speech doesn't mean you have free reign to have a platform wherever you want to speak. It means you can say what you want, but also that you must accept the consequences of your what you say. If the consequences are certain establishments don't want you speaking there, then so be it.

I'm sure even Milo would agree with me on this.
