HR MacMaster is definitely NOT Russian-friendly, as he's spent the last 2 years studying Russia's military tactics in Ukraine. And he is held in high regard by his peers, many calling him the "Colin Powell of his time". Even the Left-Wing anti-Trump media doesn't have much negative to say about him either. Hmm. | | | | | Colin Powell...nothing less....very reassuring when it comes to alternative facts. | This user would like to thank MrVertigo for this useful post:

Two days in the life of a "busy" President! | | | | | 2 tweets count as evidence in your world.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | He could still appeal the decision from the 9th Circuit Court to the U.S. Supreme Court, but it's unlikely he would win. I think Congress is too worried about re-election to be on the record voting for something like this. That leaves "issue a new order" as the best option. Rinse and repeat until you get it right/legal.
I thought that too at one point, but I begin to think that Bannon and Miller are directing policy and Pence is batting cleanup trying to make things look like they're holding together. | | | | | " That leaves "issue a new order" as the best option." So long as he takes proper legal advice and follows the advice then it should be easy!

Get real!
Or better still get off your bottom and start googling
"trial by tweet" it is called evidence and yes, tweets are often used in court to support cases.
Nothing new here
Robert Riley, a 42-year-old former bus driver from Port Talbot in Wales, was sent to prison for eight weeks after his tweets about Maguire. Source

As for the "WMD" thing, he was pretty much put up to that by Bush/Cheney and was just being a good soldier who had to follow orders. Not a highlight for him, but definitely not what his career or life was about either. Funny how you skipped all the other aspects of his career and zoomed right to the WMD thing, just like Trump | Quote: | | | | | I was never a fan of Colin Powell after his weak understanding of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq = disaster. Apparently Phil Mitchell has liver problems - I've not watched Eastenders in a decade - perhaps I could tweet about it.
If I was POTUS and I wanted to wind up a whole heap load of people I'd get a bunch of mushrooms to watch a dozen news channels - compress a day's worth of news about me into 10minutes - watch that - and then tweet about it.
If you truly believe that Trump spends most of his day watching Fox news then you really need to walk away from the internet for a week or so!

It is interesting now that we have the internet. Without the internet we wouldn't know any of this was going on, certainly for a few days and possibly not at all. It makes you wonder what has really happened with previous presidents and how Trump really compares.
Reagan wasn't the sharpest tool in the box I seem to remember.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | Most Americans are stupid enough to consider George Bush Jr a good president.
IMHO Trump is not nearly as bad as him. He is ridiculous but not as dangerous. | | | | | | Quote: | | | | | You're kidding, right? Bush did whatever he was told, he was as meek as a mouse, a figurehead, a puppet, reading (badly) from scripts. Trump is calling the shots, he is freestyling it, and he is trying to do everything in his power to get his way. He is a loose cannon. | | | | | Trump is ridiculous.
He is a sociopath.
He is a horrible person.
He will ruin the US of A.
I agree to all the above.
But George Bush Jr ruined the Middle East and created the chaos that we are facing today.
So he was the worst president of the two IMHO. | The following 2 users would like to thank lewton for this useful post:

So he was the worst president of the two IMHO. | | | | | I think that began with Carter, as for the comparison, we shall see. He's not off to a stellar start and it's in nobody's best interests that he's a complete failure. I'm still hoping that most of what we've seen so far is a created persona and the real man will have the balls to step up to the job at hand. Bravado and bullishness got him the job, but he needs to draw on everything in him to do it well.
Never been a fan of the man, but even the weakest person can do incredible things when so many are depending on it.

As ridiculous as it sounds, Bush apparently had a heart for Africa. http://www.usnews.com/news/the-repor...mpared-to-bush
I'm not going to judge a president by the first month.
Reagan didn't really start until he recovered... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attemp..._Ronald_Reagan
Most have forgotten that.
That said, Trump looks like a total loon from here.
But as I can't vote in the US, I pretend that his fooleries don't really concern me much and live a much more relaxed life.
I'm certainly not going to prevent the 3rd world war by posting (or not posting) in a forum.
