Private conversations are probably not covered by the Federal Records Act, and even if they were the data can be forwarded up to 20 days later.
I didn't find a definition of the term "record" in the Federal Records Act reasonably quickly, but according to the Wiki article on the 2014 amendment it doesn't cover private conversations:
"The last provision forbids officers and employees of the executive branch from using personal email accounts for government business, unless the employee copies all emails to either the originating officer or employee's government email, or to an official government record system to be recorded and archived" | | | | | Whew, glad Hillary didn't get elected | This user would like to thank esto for this useful post:

So, in short, even the Department of Homeland Security dont agree with the reasons for the Muslim travel ban.
This is getting embarrassing for him now. | | | | | "Muslim travel ban" is the pinnacle of "fake news". The list has 7 very unstable countries riddled with crime/terrorism. Here's the list of Muslims by country. The 7 countries are something like 5% of the worlds Muslim population. But yea, it's a "Muslim ban" | Quote: | | | | | Basically they said that nationality was not a good indicator for forecasting terrorists.
If nationality was a good guide then looking at the following table of ISIS fighters you would probably ban most of W. Europe plus many other countries | | | | | The countries on Trumps ban list have plenty of their own terrorist groups right there at home. Why would they need to travel to Syria when they can do the same thing at home? | The following 4 users would like to thank esto for this useful post:

Trump tweet today | Quote: | | | | Donald J. TrumpVerified account @realDonaldTrump 58 minutes ago
GOP now viewed more favorably than Dems, in Trump era (per NBC/WSJ poll) via @HotlineJosh: here | | | | | I wonder if he reads stuff before tweeting?
From the exact same poll | Quote: | | | | Q5 In general do you approve or disapprove of the job President Trump is doing
Approve 44%
Disapprove 48% | | | | | Maybe he thinks that is better than other polls?
In the same poll 60% disapprove of the job Congress is doing
58% disapprove of the job Congress Democrats are doing
60% disapprove of the job Congress Republicans are doing
People were also asked who they voted for last November
37% said Donald and 41% Hillary
Only 34% rate Donald as good for Honest and Trustworthy
That is enough now but not a full list of the anti Trump results in the survey |

Trump supporters found that easier to sneer at.
There is no dispute that those countries themselves have a small percentage of muslims compared with their overall percentage of world muslims. It's just not relevant to the ban, just as it wasn't relevant to the nationalities of terrorists carrying out documented terror events. Saudi, for example.

When he was my age he was in better shape than I am now | | | | | It is nice that you afford him this courtesy, Trump has criticized many for being too fat, ugly, old, disabled,... I think that he should be judged by his own standards!

Former New York mayor Rudy W. Giuliani said President Trump wanted a Muslim ban and requested he assemble a commission to show him the right way to do it legally. Washington Post.

It's crystal clear that this is directly linked to Mr. Trump's efforts to ban Muslims from the United States. Oh wait…

This is the guy who is supposed to be integrating the country; one America? Source | | | | | I have to be reasonable and assume he is of at least moderate intelligence.
But how can he be so blind to the fact that so much of his administration hates him? It boggles the mind.
At this stage i seriously think he would be better off dissolving the federation and just letting each state do exactly as it pleases.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President?
Another day, another stupid idea. Link | Quote: | | | | On Monday the White House announced he will seek a $54bn hike in spending on tanks, ships and weapons systems while cutting foreign aid, environmental programmes and domestic agencies by the same amount. | | | | | Because when the climate goes to shit, the number of tanks a country has will make all the difference.
Remember how the tanks helped against the Californian drought? and how they will be key to helping a family whose house has just been swept away by a flood?
When California's crop yield drops by 30%, the number of fighter jets will be critical to ensure a steady food supply.
Remember how useful artillery was, against Superstorm Sandy?
When the Rio Grande runs dry, Americans will be at peace, knowing they have no water, but more guns than anyone else. Is National Geographic Fake News too? Or is it a chinese hoax?
Worth adding one more thought: | Quote: | | | | "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron." | | | | | Dwight D Eisenhower

You might not personally like it and you may disagree, however he is doing what the American people voted him in to do.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people | | | | | And that was in 1953.
It just goes to show that there are a hell of a lot of stupid Americans out there. Plenty of smart ones too, but it seems more stupid ones than we thought.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President?
I forgot, regular Americans voted for him because they wanted their environment decimated, wall street deregulated, and tax rates on the richest cut.
Because those policies always work out well for the little guy.
If the american voters knew this and still voted for trump, they fully deserve what is coming to them. If they were outside the wealthiest 5%, they doubly deserve it.
I feel sorry for the millions of sensible ones who didnt vote for him. They're basically screwed.
