I would like to hear from people who thought back in 2016 that he's going to be a good president.
I would be happier if Trump was just as bad as G.W.Bush.... but I fear he has a lot of ground to make up to get there!

I thought he'd be good, now I think he's doing great!

My only complaint is that he seems a bit too liberal for my taste and i'd like to see him shoot from the hip more often

Comey's rejected the claims.

But not saying he will be a bad President is the same as saying he is the best President in the world - ever.

Even implying that compared to Hillary, Trump may well be the lesser of two great evils, is apparently the same as saying Trump will be the best president ever.

If you think that Trump is anything less than 'Literally Hitler' then you clearly think he's the best president ever.

As a bit of balance, though, anyone on here who dares to speak against him or the current administration is at risk of being branded a screaming liberal so the hyperbole is pretty much evenly spread.

But but...don't you understand the outrage over his imagined mental condition? Just the frantic efforts to find something to impeach him for. Left have fun ways to discredit their oponents. And portray themselves as well meaning virtuous beings.

Although a demand to release his medical records is ridiculous, I do think he has a medical condition. But I am biased, having worked for a CEO who referred to himself as 'we' all the time.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-39183153
New travel ban issued today;

some Key points
  • the old travel ban is revoked
  • Iraq is no longer on the list
  • this time it will be introduced after 10 days, not immediately
  • Existing US residents and visa holders are excluded.
  • It is written in a much more detailed style.
  • all refugees are banned for 120 days

Source

Edit; my initial reaction is that the order contains too many words so making it a beanfeast for lawyers to argue about the exact meaning of words and clauses.

We? Luis the IVX?

Just a note, though, it is an annoying modesty plural used in academia. There is no "we", dudes..I myself am sweating over tedious tasks. I think it is meant to add a bit of credibility, too. "We" as a team. It is a bit of a condition (of an academic or pretentious jargon).

As long as he doesn't refer to himself as "he".

Who doesn't have a condition, after 20.

You mean like the frantic efforts desperately to prove Obama wasn't born in the US in order to discredit him? Those kind of fun ways to make themselves appear as "virtuous beings"?

There were enough vein-popping and apoplectic right wingers driving themselves round the bend losing their sh*t over the Obama administration who have now all conveniently forgotten their hysteria now that they've got a new poster boy telling them everything they want to hear.

Jesus, the hypocrisy on this thread is laughable.

Yup, there was a good bunch of hysteria during Obama fresh times. Resulting in dubiously deserved Noble price.

A lot of that was pretty sick, I agree.

It was shocking to see how the fine line between stupid ad hominem attacks and legitimate criticism of misguided policy could blur so quickly.

But to me it seems the left are now trying to get even by doing much the same to Trump.

Two wrongs don't make a right and all that.
