Michael Flynn’s newly disclosed lobbying ties to Turkey bolster President Trump’s decision to oust him as national security adviser, Vice President Pence said Thursday.
“I think it is an affirmation of the president’s decision to ask Gen. Flynn to resign,” Pence said in an interview with Fox News. Source
The chairman of the Office of Government Ethics said the office remains concerned about Kellyanne Conway’s “misuse of position” to promote Ivanka Trump’s products and the White House’s decision not to discipline to her. Source
Democratic attorneys general in four states announced Thursday that they will try to block the Trump administration's revised executive order on travel in court, pushing for the temporary restraining order that halted the first order to remain intact. Source
I do not know how good a case they have; they seem to be relying on asking the Govt. to prove the current court restraining order should be removed because the new ban is sufficiently different from the old one.
This is different from tackling the points in the new ban directly!
Seems to be a clever approach?

Trump’s tweets—including the ones he s up—are potentially subject to the Presidential Records Act, which is why the House Committee On Government Oversight And Reform (Committee member Elijah Cummings and chairman Jason Chaffetz) recently sent a letter to the White House requesting that Trump keep his thumb off the delete button.
The letter requests that Trump’s administration hand over details of the training he and his staff have had on the Presidential Records Act and Federal Records Act, as well as information on any auto-archiving protocols the White House has implemented Source | The following 2 users would like to thank marton for this useful post: | |

So Trumpcare, aka the Unaffordable Care Act, is being pushed through Congress. As expected, it's going to be a big increase in expenses and a loss of coverage for most people, especially low income older Trump voters. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/10/o...pgtype=article
I really hope that it is fully enacted as soon as possible, so that everyone can see what a mess the Republicans have made. They've had seven years to come up with something to replace Obamacare and then when the time came, they were totally unprepared. Pathetic.

The Democrat supporting newspaper Washington Post is publishing a weekly assessment of Trump's lies and other mistakes, http://link.washingtonpost.com/view/...m.vc9/1e058e95
I suppose the old adage is still valid, you get the leadership you deserve. If you vote for monkeys, you can expect peanuts (or was it something else?)

Trumpcare is an absolute POS, unless you're an insurance executive. Then you get a tax cut. But it's clear that these guys have 0 clue about how health care works.

Read somewhere that Trump's problem is "As president, you can’t control the press, you can’t control the legislature, you can’t control the judiciary.”.
Well he chose to treat the Press as the enemy so eventually either he will win and they stop publishing negative news about him or he will lose and they continue. So far there is no clear indication which way it will go.
He needs to win over the legislature; he has the skills but does he have the will to do this?
So far as the judiciary he has appointed a supporter, Sessions to run Justice but this will not help him in court. He needs to better formulate his executive orders to comply with the law; he seems to be starting on the right path.
Overall he needs to use the machinery of Govt. more. He seems to have changed the role of the Secretary of State from the most powerful Cabinet member after the President into some sort of nonentity.
Example, the Mexican Foreign Minister Videgaray visited the White House Thursday but nobody bothered to inform State he was in the country! Source
Videgaray himself explained that he had spoken by telephone to Tillerson the night before to let him know he was arriving in Washington. But it seems nobody in the WH told Tillerson and Tillerson did not inform his own Dept.!

Just reading that, after attending a Congressional hearing regarding his airport detention during the initial travel ban, Mohammed Ali's son was detained again for two hours at Fort Lauderdale airport upon his return from Jamaica. That's a US born and bred citizen. Ludicrous!

He went to Washington to give evidence about being detained for two hours at Fort Lauderdale airport upon his return from Jamaica.
When he went to Washington airport to fly home (US Domestic flight) he was detained for 20 minutes; there was a Democrat Congress member on the same flight who took fotos and witnessed the scene!

Baldwin back in Saturday Night Live in a sketch about Trump dealing with an alien attack!
Also skewered President Donald Trump's elder daughter Ivanka with a faux perfume ad, starring actress Scarlett Johansson. The name of the perfume? Complicit.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | On Feb. 19, 2016, at a campaign rally in North Charleston, South Carolina, then-candidate Donald Trump gave a stump speech in which he railed against American jobs moving to Mexico.
That same day a law firm in Mexico City quietly filed on behalf of his company for trademarks on his name that would authorize the Trump brand
The Trump trademarks have now been granted by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, or IMPI for its initials in Spanish. | | | | | Source
China also recently granted Trump trademarks.
I assume Trump will not start businesses in these countries but concentrate on the US instead!

Yet, going against my own beliefs about access to affordable healthcare being a universal, basic human right for all, I have a hard time feeling sorry for Trump voters who are left without coverage.
