Lol...one of the twitter responses is, and i am deadly serious:

"I'm boycotting McDonalds. I dont eat there anyway".

from a gent named "Phins/Yanks/MAGA"

Which just exemplifies the level of basic vocabulary knowledge the average trump supporter has.
McDonalds doing its bit to combat obesity.

His day just goes from bad to worse. First his travel ban is banned again and now the Senate Intelligence Committee says his fake news about being wire tapped is ... fake news.

Yeah, but he doesn't care. In the background they're slashing the budget, killing funding for the arts and research for example, while he amazes and entertains.

Well as I understand Trump has proposed a budget which the House has to review and approve.
I believe the last budget that Obama put forward was ignored by the House?

I assume a GOP House will not ignore the Trump budget but they may not accept all of it or decide to make changes.
My experience of the budget process is decision makers take the saving but delay agreeing to new funding?

There were some rumours that the Russians were helping Trump and hoping to see sanctions reduced?
Maybe they are just as happy to see State emasculated

"one judge considers it "ok" " Do you have a source for your statement, I have not seen any judge rule this is OK so far?

"single (unelected) judge" unelected? U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson; the Senate unanimously confirmed Watson's appointment in a 94-to-0 vote.

"This is no longer about interpretations of the law." Can you support your statement in any way or is it simply your view?
Well, if you insist on being pathetic....

1. Talking about what is context and what is not context, generally. Not suggesting 1 judge considers the EO ok, although if only 3 (so far) have problems with it so far maybe 91 think it's OK.

2. Not elected by the general population vs elected by tens of millions of the general population.

3. It's my view.

I still don't like Trump and still think he is an idiot, there could be more

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Judges are not elected because that allows them to not pander to populism.

because they cant be 'voted out' they can scrutinize legislation without the pressure to accept the majority view.

"maybe 91 think it's OK." Convincing argument, not!

from Shakespeare, Henry II, "Will no one rid me of this turbulent president?" or, "Just what does it take to get an impeachment? "

Maybe the people who voted against Trump visiting the Queen had a point?

I wonder if Maggie, Maggie May will stand up for GCHQ, I doubt it - she is too busy brown nosing!

She could always call in the US Ambassador for a smacking. Oh wait a minute; the bunch of clowns have not appointed one yet!

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

This is UN-believable. How can we deal with a powerful man who lies to preserve his own ego? This is TRULY bad. I feel so bad for America. This ain't going away. But what is WORSE is I don't think Americans will impeach him.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Yes I guess I have the luxury of sitting back and watching the show too...if only he wasn't planning to build a huge military.

There's nothing I can do...or is there? How about I own up to doing the wire-tapping. Yep, it was me, I wire-tapped Trump Tower but because I am not technical I used the ol' string between two cans on one occasion and held a glass up against the inside wall of a cupboard.

Here's proof that it is me: "Vlad, I love what you do...and what you wear and don't wear. <pause>. Yes I won...biggest margin ever in history. More than any other country and all the countries elections ever. I've made America great again. Me. On my own. Donald J Trump"

That's proof right?

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the last that EF ever heard of poor Groves.

Within minutes of making that statement, the CIA had his details, and Black Hawk helicopters were on their way to his address. He would have a black bag thrown over his face, only removed when he reached the dusty confines of his new home in Guantanamo Bay. He would undergo hours and weeks of waterboarding and less wholesome method of torture, as they tried to coax details of his tin-can supplier and his string sources. They even wanted to know where on the dark web he got his drinking glass from. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, he had become on of the "bad dudes" that are now infamous.

So ends the story of Groves. A man (or woman) we didn't enjoy long enough.
