Yeah Obama who expanded the war and helped arming the terrorists is not a dick at all.... neither is hillary... i mean if you "stand up" for women but at the same time you are taking money from Saudi arabia THAT DOESNT MAKE YOU A DICK AT ALL.

After all, the most important Thing of a politician is his image not his policies, am i right, AM I RIGHT, OR AM I RIGHT!?
Quote:
Ivanka Trump's proposed Women Entrepreneurs Fund -- a concept she first shared during her own inaugural international trip as first daughter last month to Berlin, Germany -- was promised a combined $100 million by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates specifically to help women in the Middle East.

"plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose"; the more that changes, the more it's the same thing.

So long as the money is used for a good purpose I do not care about the source; just interesting to see Trump behaving like the typical politician and doing the things he criticised Obama for.

Quote:
As a presidential candidate, Donald Trump railed against President Barack Obama for failing to utter the words "radical Islamic terrorism."
He accused the foundation run by Bill and Hillary Clinton of corruption for accepting charitable contributions from Saudi Arabia
and chastised first lady Michelle Obama for not covering her head during a visit to the Kingdom.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Apparently the thumbs up gesture can be considered rude in Saudi Arabia and the US embassy warned about it in their taboo list.

Wtf is that? Are they playing some kind of Saudi game show?
Something much more mundane evidently. Though social media has had fun with the pic too.

"An image of US President Donald Trump with his hands placed over a glowing white orb alongside Saudi King Salman and Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi is lighting up social media.

On Sunday, the leaders inaugurated a new centre in Riyadh aimed at combating extremist ideology. Mr Trump was on his first foreign visit to Saudi Arabia where he urged regional leaders to take the lead in rooting out radicalisation."

Meanwhile Flynn is refusing to hand over documents in case he might incriminate himself.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40004300

And looks like even plodding Pence can see the writing on the wall.

Speaking of walls...did you all see this article?

A serious contender to The Onion.

"We would pay for the ‘whole enchilada,’” Peña Nieto told reporters on the steps of the National Palace in Mexico City. “Impeachment is far cheaper than a border wall, and frankly, no one will want an expensive border wall after Trump’s gone, anyway.”

Remember Jared Kushner failed to disclose meetings with Russian officials in his security clearance paperwork.

According to Reuters

Justice Department ethics officials concluded that it is "appropriate" for recently named special counsel Robert Mueller to move forward with investigating Russia and the 2016 election, despite his former law firm's work that may overlap with his inquiry, a DOJ spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

Source

Former CIA director John Brennan said Tuesday he doesn't know whether there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials in the 2016 election, but he left office in January with "unresolved questions" about whether Russia had been successful in getting Trump campaign officials to act on its behalf "either wittingly or unwittingly."

Source

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats declined to comment Tuesday on the report that President Donald Trump asked him to publicly deny evidence of cooperation between his campaign and Russia during the 2016 election

"I don't feel it's appropriate to characterize discussions and conversations with the President,"

Would have been easy to say "No"?

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Was there ever such a naive White House?

Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross marveled Monday morning that there was not even “a single hint or a protester” anywhere in Saudi Arabia during President Donald Trump’s visit there over the weekend, conceding only at a CNBC anchor’s prodding that the lack of unrest could have been due to the Islamic kingdom’s lack of protections for freedom of speech.

"Lack of protections"? The penalty for political dissent in Saudi Arabia can be decapitation. Probably a good reason why protesters there don't get heard much. Especially the ones that have been convicted of dissent.
