The ironic thing is, after telling autocracies around the world that the USA will not lecture other people on how to live, what to do, who to be or how to worship, Trump goes to Brussels and lectures the NATO democracies on how to live (stricter borders), what to do (pay up nonexistent backpayments), who to be (nationalistic), and how to worship (him in front).

Remember Jared Kushner failed to disclose meetings with Russian officials in his security clearance paperwork.

President Donald Trump's son-in-law and trusted aide Jared Kushner may have discussed creating a secret communications channel between the Trump transition team and the Kremlin with Russia's ambassador Sergei Kislyak, The Washington Post reported Friday, citing US officials briefed on intelligence reports.

The claim comes from intercepts of conversations between Russia's ambassador and Moscow.
Kislyak reportedly told higher-ups in Moscow that Kushner suggested the proposal in a meeting at Trump Tower -- which former national security adviser Michael Flynn also attended -- in December. Kushner "suggested using Russian diplomatic facilities in the United States for the communications," the Post reported.

He did know the FBI keep a close eye on Kislyak and his communications.

Former acting CIA director John McLaughlan on Friday responded to reports that President Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner discussed setting up a secret communications line between Trump's transition team and the Kremlin, saying if such reports are true, it would be considered espionage.

The fact you can't understand how those handshakes and body language have any significance is even more amusing. Maybe a small, more localised asteroid on your immediate area would be more appropriate.

Explain what significance they have. No deal between nation states has ever been affected by body language or handshakes.

The significance is that it is Trumps tactic in trying to get a psychological edge and show his superiority over other world leaders. Macron is the first world leader who has had the balls to beat him at his own game, and Trump will be furious and slighted by that, especially with the media attention claiming that Macron "won".

Some things are a little more subtle than making a big deal or starting a war.

It contradicts both the House health care bill (cost reduction $119B) and his own budget proposal; cuts of between $800 billion and $1.4 trillion in future spending on Medicaid, the health-care program for low-income Americans.

Maybe he really does have some sort of personal problem that confuses him?

Can we use his exact words, and debate those, instead of extrapolation?
