Really enjoying Trump as President.

He seems to be moving everything in the right direction big league.

If he can survive the swamp trying to stop him who knows what he will be able to achieve.

Seems Trump has retweeted a leak of classified info
Maybe Jeff Sessions will crack down on him!

Oh well, now that the president has tweeted it, it's not classified any more. Problem solved!

McConnell criticizes Trump's 'excessive expectations'

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell offered some of his toughest criticism yet for President Donald Trump in a speech Monday.
"Our new president, of course, has not been in this line of work before, I think he had excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the democratic process."

Quote:
President Donald Trump issued an extraordinary ultimatum to North Korea on Tuesday warning Pyongyang not to make any more threats against the United States or they will "face fire and fury like the world has never seen"

Trump's harsh words come as US intelligence analysts have assessed that North Korea has produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead, according to multiple sources familiar with the analysis of North Korea's missile and nuclear program.
Source

Strangely reminds me of the story about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction
This story worked once, no reason for Trump not to try the same

Edit - This is the same Trump who said the US intelligence agencies failed because they supported the Iraq WMD story and therefore we should reject their conclusions about Russia/US election &&&.
Now he seems happy to swallow the miniaturized nuclear warhead story from the same US intelligence agencies

His body language during that statement was almost worse than his words. Can they not just have a cage fight instead? The rest of us are fine as we are, so let the two egos fight it out between themselves.

Lawmakers slam Trump's 'fire and fury' toward North Korea.
Senate Armed Services Chairman John McCain said he took exception to Trump's comments, warning that the President might not be able to follow through with the threats he is making.
"The great leaders I've seen don't threaten unless they're ready to act and I'm not sure President Trump is ready to act."

Democrats slammed Trump for a reaction they charged was "bombastic" and "unhinged."

Abraham Denmark, a former deputy assistant secretary of Defense for East Asia, said "Our adversaries and our allies are getting very mixed messages from the Trump administration, and this is why you need to have experienced people in government," he said.
"This is why diplomacy requires more than a Twitter account and some bravado.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

The President pledged to make fighting the opioid crisis, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has deemed an epidemic, a top priority during the 2016 campaign.

President Donald Trump said Tuesday a stronger law enforcement response is needed to combat the opioid crisis.

Bill Piper, senior director for the Drug Policy Alliance, told CNN Tuesday that stricter enforcement "has never worked" and the President would be "better focusing on the treatment side of things."
"A supply side approach to drugs has never worked," Piper said. "That is what has been tried for decades and it has failed for every drug it has applied to, including alcohol during Prohibition.

He sounded more like Comical Ali promising 'fire and fury', and most of this based on misleading stories in the press as opposed to his own Intelligence Briefings, which apparently he doesn't bother reading.

It is quite worrying to know that Kim Jong Un can rattle the US president that easily. I spoke with an old colleague who lives in Seoul and she said that they're completely desensitized to North Korean rhetoric, much of which is just nonsense as the US State Department probably already know.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Trump can't do anything without the agreement of neighbouring nations, such as South Korea and Japan. But if he keeps pushing Kim, something will happen and Trump will have brought it upon himself, the people of the region, and America. Just wish someone would tell him that a nuclear attack is imminent, stick him in a bunker and chuck the key away.

Glad you agree that illegal immigration is going down under Trump

That was a article from March.
Here's the update from July:

So much for the ‘Trump slump’ — visitors to the U.S. are up in 2017

No 'Trump slump' in US tourism and expert believes there could be a 'Trump bump'

Asked if there's a "Trump slump" in travel to the 12 Southern states marketed by Travel South USA, CEO Liz Bittner said: "The truth of the matter is no. I think it was a lot of media hype."

Fake news!
But there are no official tourist numbers after Jan 2017

If Trump wants to go to war he should have joined the army 55 years ago instead of running the other way as quick as he did.

Somebody really needs to give him a slap to wake him up, millions of people are at serious risk now because of his giant ego.

According to the Partnership for Public Service, which tracks political appointments, the Trump administration has not yet put forward a nominee for 86 of 131 Senate-confirmed positions at the department, including posts leading diplomacy on the Middle East and East Asia, where there are several potential crises.

Are you for real or just really bad at geography? A missile that could reach California could also reach Switzerland.

Yes, Seoul, Calif and Tokyo Calif. Shortly followed by the rest of the world once China decides to flex it's military might, which I don't think would happen, but you never know.

I'm reasonably confident that any missile fired by North Korea at California would likely end up in Panama. Sure, they may have the range, but accuracy is a whole other matter.

USA should leave this alone. This is a regional problem and the regional countries should deal with it. All those saying how Xi and China are showing up Trump by their world leadership, well how about they actually do something about North Korea instead of propping up this little mad man.
