If it wasn't for China the little Kim Kong would have been history by now...Yet no Efer, ever, criticises China. Why am I not surprised....
Maybe because China is the only left over sane superpower?

Last time the war in Korea was hot, US troops (called "UN troops", lol..) were basically crossing into China proper when China couldn't take it any longer, and sent it's troops (not officially, they were all volunteers, take it as what you think..) to kick them out - which managed to beat the "UN troops" all the way back into the Southern part of Korea.

US reaction to that?

We'll nuke all Chinese cities - killing some 50 million civilians might "lighten them up"..

Fortunately, the civilian US administration at that time overruled their leading general and showed him the door.

Current US "administration"? I certainly doubt that Dictator Trump can even manage to count to ten on his own..

I can't tell how much of this is your own words and how much you're quoting. Could you kindly use quote marks or HTML tags as appropriate to make it more clear? Also add a TL;DR because as much as we might like to debate Trump no one wants to read that much text at once. Thanks.

"We have many options for Venezuela. And by the way, I am not going to rule out a military option," Trump said following a meeting with US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson at his New Jersey golf club.

Could you kindly provide linked stats for the level of education for those approvers? Seems like most of them do not even know where Guam or NK are..

It doesn't provide their education levels but it does mention that more men approve of Trump than don't!

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

From the Guardian tody- perhaps the most terrifying piece of information

The more you hear of the simplicity of the system, the more frightening it becomes. If Trump decides he has had enough of Kim Jong-un’s verbal threats, he merely has to turn to the low-level military aide at his side and ask them to open up the black briefcase that officer keeps permanently in their grasp. The bag is known as the nuclear “football”. (It gets its name from the code word for the very first set of nuclear war plans: dropkick.) Inside the bag is a menu of options, explained in detail in a “black book,” but also set out in a single, cartoon-like page for speedy comprehension. Trump has only to make his choice, pick up the phone to the Pentagon war room, utter the code words that identify him as the president and give the order. That’s it.

The officer who receives the call at the Pentagon has no authority to question or challenge the order

There is no need for consultation with anyone else. Not the secretary of state or the secretary of defence, nor the head of the military. The officer who receives the call at the Pentagon has no authority to question or challenge the order. His or her duty is only to implement it. Thirty minutes after the president gave the instruction, the nuclear missiles would be hitting their targets

If I recall correctly some German guys were once sentenced to death in Nurenberg for mistakenly believing all orders were to be obeyed without thinking.

But it was a long time ago, I know, and times have changed.

Not that much. He's still Commander in Chief and his word is law. My thought is though that first he would have to get Congress to agree to a declaration of war against North Korea before he'd be allowed to give the order. Still if Korea fires first I expect that (possible) requirement would go out the window.

I guess if N Korea did fire first, Congress would approve.

The guy is definitely a sandwich short of a picnic!
Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) fired back at President Trump on Friday, saying Congress “obviously isn’t authorizing war in Venezuela” after Trump said he wouldn’t rule out using a military option in the country.

“No, Congress obviously isn’t authorizing war in Venezuela,” Sasse, a member of the Senate Armed Services committee, said in a statement. “Nicolas Maduro is a horrible human being, but Congress doesn’t vote to spill Nebraskans’ blood based on who the Executive lashes out at today.”

Those looking for a more statistically balanced point of view, instead of only the polls that get Trump tweeting, can check a poll of polls here.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Swastikas on the streets America, really? I mean ffs really? get a grip.

and your president refuses to condemn it, weaselling around the issue with 'violence on many sides, many sides' ok maybe there were people fighting on both sides, but only one side was carrying effing swastikas!

Any of the three stooges care to justify refusing to condemn nazi flag waving? US ww2 vets must be ashamed.
