Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

A rally was organised in Boston today for neo Nazis and white supremacists
Not many turned up!

Many thousands of counter protesters turned up.

So what was Trumps reaction?

Looks like many anti-police agitators in Boston. Police are looking tough and smart! Thank you.
When will Trump recognise he represents all Americans?

No, a rally was planned around the idea of Free Speech. The organizers had invited BLM to speak, and had issued a statement saying they would not offer a platform to racism or bigotry. “We denounce the politics of supremacy and violence,” the statement said. “We denounce the actions, activities, and tactics of the so-called Antifa movement. We denounce the normalization of political violence.”

The rally was shut down by 15,000-30,000 'counter-protesters'. (The free speech rally wasn't a protest, so not sure why the protesters are called counter-protesters).

They must be very proud of themselves.

You can read all about their tactics on the official unofficial website of the antifa movement. The following article relates to the events in Charlottesville:

https://itsgoingdown.org/fought-char...dangers-ahead/

'They (anitifa) are the reason Richard Spencer did not speak today. They are the reason the “Unite the Right” march didn’t happen. They strategically used violent tactics to incite the Nazis to violence, such that the governor declared a state of emergency before noon. Before the “Unite the Right” rally was scheduled to begin...
...The antifa strategically incited enough violence before noon to make the police declare it illegal to gather in Emancipation Park. Through this strategic violence they effectively made a previously legally permitted Nazi rally, illegal.'

As horrible as old Pumpkinhead DT may be, he may actually be right about 'both sides to blame' - the antifas readily admit that they purposely provoked the 'right wingers' to violence, with violence. This is of course no justification for more violence, but it sure seems like that's exactly what the antifas wanted...

throwing piss, shit or concrete filled bottles. standard alt left tactics.

im sure the police is very much concerned with the danger of a handful of "nazis" and not that horde of police hating angels.

Richard Spencer is an American white supremacist.
He is president of the National Policy Institute, a white supremacist think tank, as well as Washington Summit Publishers.
He has advocated for a white homeland for a "dispossessed white race" and called for "peaceful ethnic cleansing" to halt the "deconstruction" of European culture.

So Shiva Ayyadurai, who was scheduled to speak at the event, is now a neo-Nazi and white supremacist?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiva_Ayyadurai

The media bias on this story is appalling. Notice how in most of the articles, this free speech rally is referred to as a "free speech" rally, wink wink, as if it's something else in disguise....

It's a sad day in America when anyone who might be labelled 'far right' or in support of 'free speech' is considered a Nazi white supremacist. Almost like McCarthyism..

Sure, he's a complete douche. A douche that has the right to freedom of assembly and freedom of speech. A douche that has the right to hold whatever disgusting opinions he may have, without being assaulted with shit-filled balloons.

Because they label anyone who disagrees with their far right beliefs as antifa and attempts to shut them down. Because they believe in their right to violently protest anyone who disagrees with them
Seems like that narrative has failed.

Wow, that's disturbing. So you're saying that this Indian fellow, who supports free speech, should be grouped together with anybody else who supports free speech, and 'expect to be made into bacon'.., because some people who support free speech may be 'pigs'?

How about his partner, Fran Drescher, the outspoken LGBT activist? Should she also expect to be made into bacon?

That's a failing of all those lefty liberal types. Unlike very sensible, discerning, right-wing folk, who swallow everything Trump and Breitbart feed them, hook, line and sinker.

How are those job numbers and stock market figures going?

There will always be fringe views.

If people who espouse fringe views are denied the right to freedom of speech then a new fringe would emerge.

Ay, you're mixing 'us' all up together. Please don't conflate the true Left with the champagne socialists, the 'we've got to save the poor savages' condescending racists, the self-hating virtue signalers, or the braindead masses in front of their tv sets, gobbling it all up on the news before their favorite series comes on.

Or maybe I turned left 3 times?

In any case, these balls are intact, thanks.

ah, nice variation of the blm chant "pigs in a blanket, fry m like bacon". a creative spin on their rather bland "what do we want? dead cops, when do want it? now"

you and your ef colleague are not living with pigs, are you?
