President Donald Trump and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, "briefly" discussed human rights during their closed-door conversation, the White House said.
But a spokesman for the controversial Philippine President told reporters that "human rights did not arise" during the meeting.
Duterte's spokesman Harry Roque told CNN that the topic "was not brought up," adding that Duterte brought up the "drug menace" in the Philippines and that Trump "appeared sympathetic and did not have any official position on the matter but was merely nodding his head." Source

A reporter defending Roy Moore appeared to compare the sexual misconduct allegations against the GOP Senate candidate to stealing a lawnmower.
When pressed on why he doesn't think the the allegations are serious, Moseley said they are 38 years old, adding: "This would be a misdemeanor at the time under the code of Alabama."
If, you know, Roy Moore had stolen a lawn mower when he was 21 that’s bad, but that’s not a reason, 50 years later, to all of a sudden, you know, throw him off the ballot
"If you go back and you don’t elect anyone who has ever done anything wrong we wouldn’t have had Barack Obama," he said. "I think he did cocaine.
Another woman on Monday came forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Moore, accusing him of grabbing her when she was a minor in a restaurant parking lot while she struggled to get away from him. Source

One of the most accurate polls last time around. But #FakeNews likes to say we’re in the 30’s. They are wrong. Some people think numbers could be in the 50's. Together, WE will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
| | | | | From the same poll "Voters are evenly divided over whether the economic boom is due to the new president or his predecessor, Barack Obama."
Must be true, the President says they are accurate |

President Donald Trump touted the economic successes of his trip to Asia Tuesday, telling reporters that the five-nation tour had netted the U.S. “at least $300 billion” in trade deals but without giving full details.
Usually such announcements include photos of the President witnessing the signing ceremonies.
One deal that earned specific mention from Trump is Vietnam’s $12 billion order from Boeing.
It was unclear if Trump was referring to an $11.3 billion deal between Boeing and Vietnam’s VietJet airline signed in 2016 during a visit by former President Barack Obama or if Vietnam had placed an additional order with Boeing. Source
Certainly the only Boeing press release about a deal with Vietnam is the Obama one here. Source
Trump forecast he will make a major trade announcement on Wednesday (tomorrow) which will hopefully clarify the situation. |

President Trump offered to return a Filipino fugitive who had fled to the US.
During the meeting with with President Rodrigo Duterte, Trump offered to extradite a Filipino fugitive in the US, Harry Roque (a Duterte spokesman) said.
“Do you want him back?” Trump asked, according to Roque, who did not identify the escapee. “I will send him back because I know you follow the rule of law.” Source |

The campaign was started last week by a man named Rob Mello on behalf of Briskman after news broke that she had been fired from her job over the incident.

What the heck is this tweet all about???
The Sutherland Springs mass shooting was on 5 November, 10 days ago! Did Trump simply copy/paste his platitude-laden tweet on that day in response to the latest mass shooting ( this time in California, yesterday morning), and forget to change the name of the city????
What a... Words fail me. Seriously, this is the President of the USA???

In the name of national security he should have all his social media accounts blocked. Every day since he became President he's tweeted something ridiculous that he shouldn't have. |

Surprising the tweet is still up? | | | | | The tweet has finally disappeared. He has the reflexes of a puma, that one, I tell ya!
But wait, there's more... This afternoon (our time) Trump also retweeted one of his own tweets (d'oh!) from a couple of weeks ago, when he visited Pearl Harbour. Maybe he thought Hawaii was in Asia, since he was in the middle of bragging about his "Indo-Asian" vacation.
And as for the attached tweet about watching CNN, who forced you, Mr President? Did they hold a gun to your head? (Did they force you to post those bizarre tweets, too?) Where was your 24-hour personal security detail? Have you managed to alienate them as well as all the other American security organisations?
However, it is refreshing to see a little honesty from Donnie, signing his tweet "Loser!".

Report: Border Agents Set to Release Illegals Crossing Border in Texas.
Border Patrol agents have reportedly been told not to turn the illegal immigrants over for deportation because there isn't any bed space available to house them while they await hearings.
"We're going to have to release them out our front door," said Brandon Judd, an agent and president of the National Border Patrol Council! Source
Law of unintended consequences strikes!
Not surprising; if you beef up efforts to catch illegals without strengthening the whole end to end deportation process then you will soon hit a bottleneck |
