It appears that someone has hired James O'Keefe's Project Veritas outfit (responsible for the accusations against the ACORN outfit - turned out to be misleading editing and downright fabrication) to do a job on the Washington Post to discredit the allegations against Judge Moore. https://www.washingtonpost.com/ampht...ally-happened/ | This user would like to thank Rob for this useful post:

Meeting with “Chuck and Nancy” today about keeping government open and working.
Problem is they want illegal immigrants flooding into our Country unchecked, are weak on Crime and want to substantially RAISE Taxes.
I don’t see a deal!
6:17 AM - 28 Nov 2017 | | | | | Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, announced in a statement;
"Given that the President doesn't see a deal between Democrats and the White House, we believe the best path forward is to continue negotiating with our Republican counterparts in Congress instead," Pelosi and Schumer said in their joint statement.
"Rather than going to the White House for a show meeting that won't result in an agreement, we've asked (Senate Majority Leader Mitch) McConnell and (House Speaker Paul) Ryan to meet this afternoon."
The government runs out of funding December 8, giving Congress little time to negotiate a deal to keep the lights on and handle other top priorities.
"If the President, who already said earlier this year that 'our country needs a good shutdown,' isn't interested in addressing the difficult year-end agenda, we'll work with those Republicans who are, as we did in April.
We look forward to continuing to work in good faith, as we have been for the last month, with our Republican colleagues in Congress to do just that," Pelosi and Schumer said. Source
Best response to Trump's tweet so far "Misused quotation marks... again. Sigh."
Rest of it is just grown men playing childish games.....
Looks like odds on for a Govt. shutdown. |

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | True but he [Trump] lacks focus.
He jumps in and out of too many topics and seems to have no priorities or the dedication to see one topic through to the end?
As an example, N. Korea seems to be on his back burner; they are still happily building missiles and nuclear weapons despite a string of Trump threats and foreign visits?
.......... | | | | | I suppose it was no coincidence that N. Korea launched a ballistic missile today, after a 2 month hiatus, while Trump was having lunch with the Senate trying to drum up support for his tax reform!

Looks like odds on for a Govt. shutdown. | | | | | Might be the best thing to happen. This year on year wheeler dealer on the budget only makes the deficit worse since they keep upping what they can borrow. Shut the whole thing down and maybe, just maybe, they might learn to work together to get the finances back on course and reduce America's debt. | This user would like to thank Medea Fleecestealer for this useful post:

.@realDonaldTrump now knows that his verbal abuse will no longer be tolerated. His empty chair photo opp showed he’s more interested in stunts than in addressing the needs of the American people. Poor Ryan and McConnell relegated to props. Sad!
1:28 PM - 28 Nov 2017 | | | | | Trump at the meeting Schumer and Pelosi declined to attend!
Games people play who should be mature enough to know better
Edit; McConnell said he could not recall turning down an opportunity to meet with a president at the White House, though he and other GOP leaders caught flak for declining such an invitation from former President Barack Obama in 2010. Source

The question is - did he do it himself or was the account hacked.
"Donald Trump's Twitter account has retweeted three inflammatory anti-Muslim videos from a British far-right group" http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42166663 |

What a fool. I wonder how his press secretary is going to explain this away.
Edit: or maybe he's not a fool. Jo Cox's widower seems to think it's deliberate. "Trump has legitimised the far right in his own country, now he’s trying to do it in ours. Spreading hatred has consequences & the President should be ashamed of himself." Brendan Cox https://twitter.com/MrBrendanCox/sta...42524383645696 "During the course of the murder Thomas Mair was heard by a number of witnesses to say repeatedly ‘Britain First’." http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...-a7416021.html

"“We have an extension, which will go out to Dec. 15. That will include the debt ceiling, that will include the CRs, and it will include Harvey,” Trump said. “CR” refers to a continuing resolution, or stopgap budget."

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that whether the inflammatory videos are real or not, “the threat is real.” Source
Who would ever have imagined a US President distributing such inflammatory videos without even checking or caring about their authenticity.
Trump and his gang are really a disgraceful bunch
Edit;- Trump's re-tweets are being praised by white supremacist and ex KKK leader David Duke
Edit2;- So now we have the US President endorsing the use of Fake News

Hahahaha, HOW MANY people triggered by a Trump retweet?! He's trolling you all and you still don't get it.
As an aside, remarkable how many people (I'm looking at you Labour MPs) who are calling for Trump to be banned from the country for retweets who are the very same people who want let ISIS fighters return for "rehabilitation".

.@realDonaldTrump Facts do matter. The perpetrator of the violent act in this video was born and raised in the Netherlands. He received and completed his sentence under Dutch law. | | | | | Trump tweeted "Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches!" but he was not a migrant!!

We could change this thread title for Is Trump a good president?
I've had an answer before: No.
In international affairs he doesn't have a good image who has the most of important function around world. How many strange news about him that we hear or listen. For example: A wall built between Mexico and USA, so many controversal points!
His decision in getting out USA from environmental affairs during international agreement in Paris.
And so on...
The problem is the next president will have many efforts to reorganize these important issues, problems inherited by Trump

I just get decidedly pissed off when people in positions of power and responsibility abuse their position.
When the Netherlands Embassy has to respond to the garbage from Jayda Fransen (her with the incredibly British name, Not!!), because the President has been idling his time away repeating this shite, it's a damned sorry state of affairs. Has it never struck you that the majority of gobshites who reach the top of BF have decidely un-British names?

Some clown. | | | | | So... perhaps his solution to winding the debt down is to declare bankruptcy?
For a guy who claims to know how to get things done he doesn't seem to have actually accomplished much, other than making the few percentage of the world's population who weren't aware of the Trump brand more likely to recognize it.
I suspect that 20 years from now Trump will be remembered as the president that failed so badly that the rest of the system recognized that there are deep flaws in the political process in the US and implemented changes to mitigate the chances of this happening again.

Six bankruptcies, six! Source
Sadly he is a clown or maybe simply unwell.
Being President of the USA does not protect you from being a clown or do you believe all the past Presidents were perfect??
Edit:- | Quote: | | | | "Just spoke to President XI JINPING of China concerning the provocative actions of North Korea," Trump said in a tweet Wednesday. "Additional major sanctions will be imposed on North Korea today. This situation will be handled!" | | | | | So "today" has come and gone, where are these major sanctions?
Trump just says whatever suits the occasion with no actual follow through.
He blamed Chuck and Nancy for being all talk and no action; this is a typical "mirror" reaction where someone accuses other people of having their own faults!
