The thing is, I'm always right.
I'm sure you're convinced about that.

Wouldn't it be gullibility if your "opinions" were believed as fact?

Bottom line is that you live in a privileged country hours and hours away from Trump's ground zero, a man who came to victory in an election you couldn't be arsed voting in.

And you have all day to spout your views on an internet forum. Life goes on whether you are a Trump fan or not.
I'll tell you what the bottom line is. For all you may purport to be about "tolerance", you actually hate Trump. I just don't share your hate. Truth be told.

You said hate. I've not used that word anywhere, looking back through your posts, you are the one with all the derision.

I don't know the man. I just don't think he's up for the job.

Just because I don't beat a drum to your ramblings doesn't mean I "hate" him (seriously, are you really that black or white?? ). He's a tit, an arrogant buffoon, and will probably make a massive mess of the US (some of it might even be funny) but I can't hate someone I don't know.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Probably not but we can only hope he will be better than we fear he will be! While he was running we were hoping that a lot of the stuff people hate about him was front just to get votes, and perhaps he isn't so bad of a guy and actually does mean well. He's already backtracked on some of the ridiculous things he said in campaign hasn't he? (the wall and some LBGTQ issues) maybe there is hope that he will not be so bad! Though I voted No Hope he proves me wrong!

He's been a public figure in the US for a number of decades, and Americans are much more familiar with him than the rest of the world. It's not like we don't know what we are going to get.

He's not a bad guy; just rich, white, and cis-male; which is enough in itself to trigger PC SJWs; yet compounded with an east coast grittiness. So there are all kinds of mischaracterisations about him floated around, most of it grounded in paranoia and misconceptions. It will be fine. Nothing to be afraid of.

I think people are a bit surprised by his own brand of snowflakeness. True East Coast grit means not engaging in petty pissing matches on Twitter and standing up to the evil media, i.e., the "failing New York Times", rather than cancelling meetings like a wuss.

I believe people thought they were getting an in your face New Yorker. That would be something special. But it seems he's mostly sending out barbs on Twitter.

But in the end, how he manages the issues will matter most.

And no, I don't hate him. I don't like him.

I remember he had an ongoing feud with Rosie O'Donell. If he applies the same tenacity towards Washington DC politicians, I'm sure he'll make headway. Considering government has been in a malaise for decades. That unpleasant tenacity is probably what got him elected.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

And another broken promise. How to piss off your supporters in one easy lesson.

Trump team won't pursue charges against Hillary Clinton

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38069585

So how many broken pledges does that make so far? And he's not even been sworn in yet!

I have yet to see Trump wilt in the face of attacks. There was one moment after the recorded video. Otherwise, he seems to bounce back and thrive off of them.

Yes indeed. A silly feud between two unpleasant people. Twitter for political discourse. Someone needs to take away his flipping keyboard.

Interesting article on how the twitter posts enrage his detractors, but is apparently working to his advantage:

He's bypassing the usual mainstream media filters.

From your link

He's [Trump] temperamentally unfit to serve as president. He's ignorant of policy. He's corrupt. His early choices to serve in his administration are racist, anti-Semitic, extremist, unhinged. And of course the whole thing is frightening, terrifying, horrifying.

Most of that is true,
Bit strong but if that is what you support then OK!

That's actually interesting. So while he's acting out adinfantium, i suppose we need to take a look at what havoc he's creating in the background. Evil genius or cranky baby?
