All it shows is how morally and intellectually bankrupt the UN is. All this accomplishes is to push Palestinians further away from peace and embolden islamic supremacists. The UN is a joke.

However that does not give you automatic rights to do the same yourself.
For productive communication to take what is sought is no intimidation prior to meeting. A level playing field. You would have to be a loony tunes fella to attempt to argue against that. Trump did after all threaten the whole world? Yes? No?
The vote went against you and you give a damn about justice.
Remember peace, jusitce and the American way ?
I remember that from Roger Ramjet.
That was a amazing vote.
Even Canada and England stayed away from that mistake.
Looks to me like the bully has been bailed up by many powerful elite around the world.
It will be interesting to see what Trump does now. Either way it will be funny in a sick way.

Politicallly at home, the whole government owns the issue. Even Schumer wanted a more extreme stance of an "undivided" Jerusalem.
If Trump does not start withdrawing funds and aid, he will lose credibility on both sides. I am sure he is aware of this, and will follow through in some way.
Nevertheless, there is still the question of the Palestinians that remain. The UN is totally inadequate and incompetent at dealing with this. This is best dealt with between Trump, Netanyahu and Mohammad bin Salman. I believe there is a play there that is being investigated.

Whoopde-doo; Trump's meaningless threats versus the UN's meaningless vote.
What a load of old nonsense, honestly.

See. Funny in a sick way. | | | | | Yeah, I gave you the list of military and economic powerhouses a few posts back. You forgot Honduras, by the way. Very important.
Great to see how extensive and persuasive US influence is these days!
MAGA!!!!
I can only assume that Trump's obsession with Kim Jong-Un is due to his keenness to learn all about becoming a hermit state, shunned by all (although, as noted, even North Korea has more friends than the US, these days).

Have North Korea lead the UN Human Rights Council. They deserve it.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | Well, to restate, 65 did not vote against for the US, and were subsequently invited to a US Christmas party.
Eh, the UN has proved itself to be a useless organization again anyway. All this did was draw the Palestinians further away from peace. Many of those who voted for this probably won't lift a finger for Palestinians anyway. | | | | | What a bunch of phoneys claiming abstention means supporting the US
Next we will have Trump claiming he won the popular vote because the 40+% abstainers actually supported him
Regardless of whether the UN is useless or not, we now have the spectacle of all of the powerful nations from every part of the political spectrum voting against the US!
I believe this is a first!?
How low has Trump dragged the US!

(fools rush in were angels fear to walk!)!
"If Trump does not start withdrawing funds and aid" Interesting challenge for Trump, five out of the six countries that receive the most US foreign aid voted against the US; the other country is Israel.
Interesting tweet from the former CIA director | Quote: | | | | John O. Brennan@JohnBrennan, 17 hours ago
Trump Admin threat to retaliate against nations that exercise sovereign right in UN to oppose US position on Jerusalem is beyond outrageous.
Shows @realDonaldTrump expects blind loyalty and subservience from everyone—qualities usually found in narcissistic, vengeful autocrats.

What's the degree of penalty on coercion in the US?
They can add it to the one of sexual harassment and what ever will pile up.
I think Trump should start building a real nice jail and change the rules for people living in them. I don't think he wants to live in that tent-camp of his favourite Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, would he?

How low has Trump dragged the US! | | | | | Trump will be remembered for having stood in the gap to shield Jews and Israel from the UN cesspool. A Hanukkah story to be told for generations to come.
Now THAT is a US President worth having.

Interesting that Russia voted for the resolution, even though they are at the same time patting their own back for having beat Trump in being the first to announce moving their embassy.

At the same time, we must state that in this context we view West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,”

Trump could care less about the UN. His real goal and ambition was to out-perform Meryl Streep.
Meryl Streep's disapproval rating is at 58%, while Trump's is at 48%.

Winning! | | | | | Of course Trump would aspire to such a specious goal. Sad!
Here’s a real problem though.....Life expectancy at birth declined in the US again (two years in a row). Last time this happened was in the 1960’s. Young and middle aged (mostly white men) are dying at increased rates. Trump has yammered about this......let’s hope he has plans. https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...=.54b3d328b950 | The following 2 users would like to thank for this useful post:
