Otherwise, it should be used for domestic purposes. Puerto Rico can make better use of it. | | | | | maybe you're not american but Trump hasn't helped the victims of Hurricane Maria in PR: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.311e4edd5c53 |

Perhaps drive a divide between economic nationalists, conservatives and libertarians. Yet more likely to be dismissed as yet another fake news nothing burger. I think people are quite numb to the sensationalism now.

Okay, but as for foreign aid, the Marshall plan is long over and done with and we're way past the point of diminishing returns. Seems like we could use that money for roads, bridges, walls, spacecrafts, robots, missiles, bombs and lasers. Those things are expensive.

So, Phos & co., what's that I was saying about 100 pages back about Bannon being out to get Trump now that he's been fired from the White House? | This user would like to thank for this useful post:

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | Steve Bannon has no judicial credentials, so for him to be quoted as calling something "treasonous" doesn't really mean a whole hell of a lot.
It only means he got emphatic about something and started ranting and raving. Yippee! | | | | | Seems Trump is taking it seriously, popcorn time.
The White House released a strongly worded 266-word statement from the President slamming Bannon after excerpts from a new book quoted Bannon as calling the meeting between a Russian lawyer and the President's eldest son, son-in-law Jared Kushner and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort "treasonous" and "unpatriotic."
"Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency.
When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.
Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating 17 candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party," Trump said in the statement. | This user would like to thank marton for this useful post:

Meanwhile the White House announced Wednesday that President Trump is dissolving his voter fraud commission.
This was the group charged with proving that Trump really won the Presidential popular vote because there were millions of fake votes that caused a false loss..
The commission never had a hope in hell of achieving their goal since every independent study showed at worst there was only a handful of fake votes out of millions.
Secondly they relied on the States providing information to prove the States themselves had done a bad job which info would never ever be provided!
Been a fun Trump day |

Bread and Circuses. This looks more like an episode of Jersey Shores than the White House.
Bannon has great Economic Nationalist theories, but if he smokes crack, he needs to exit stage left. There are younger intellects who can carry those themes, without the menopausal temperament.
Trump needs to reshuffle the deck ASAP, fire as many people he can, hire new cabinet members and recalibrate for the next 6 to 9 months.
Its only Jan. 4, and I'm already getting tired of Trump winning. "Please Mr. President, stop winning! We have more important things to accomplish." | Quote: | | | | So, Phos & co., what's that I was saying about 100 pages back about Bannon being out to get Trump now that he's been fired from the White House? | | | | | Bannon has lost his mind and got too big for his britches. Even the statements in the book are low energy and of no real consequence. Bannon doesn't really know how to win, he's a poseur.

Ah, this Bannon / Trump business reminds me of that classic 80s Human League song.
He certainly helped put him where his is now, and we all wait with bated breath to see if he can bring him back down too.
