I honestly think we should all go for a drink one night. It would probably be a good laugh and i'm sure our more extreme viewed members are nice in person.

Or the amount of active members on EF will be significantly reduced after.

But the ones left over could start a thread "we made the headlines".

Oh ye of little understanding, that speaks of a globalist faction within the administration, not Trump.

I think you'll only see Breitbart turn on Trump when Trump turns on his own campaign promises. I would go against Trump if and when he starts sounding like a Democrat, which may happen sometime this year.
I do apologise, silly me. I did really think the "Trump 2020 Strategy" was somehow owned by Trump.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... Everybody's stupid except you and your army of Trump supporters. Anarchy in the US!!!
Ah... eh... um... okay.

Hope you realize that this is also about Trump vs. a political-media complex that has repeatedly brought death and destruction upon the world.

CNN has beaten a many a drums to propagate for many wars over decades. Are you sure that is the side you want to take in all this? Or could you also be simply brainwashed by said political-media complex like a pavlovian dog?

I genuinely think Trump is more upset at personal jibes than anything criticising his policies. It's laugh-a-minute, honestly

And not wrongly so, I think.

What's it to us whether he doesn't want his tooth-brush touched (I'm the same, for different reasons than his), he drops his shirts on the floor, how he combs his hair (how many of you ol' EF'ers do it the same way? ) etc.

So independent that they have to huddle in a group behind a narrow set of 'ideals', and pretend that they're intellectual rebels.
Independent in the sense that they make up their own "reality" based on their own "facts".

But it points to a deeply disturbing paranoid, narcissistic, and unstable personality. I'm not sure those are the qualities that are conducive to an effective and stable presidency. Most serious heads of state would let such things wash off their backs, openly anyway, whereas he reacts aggressively and incoherently at times. Even his "official" rebuttal to the allegations in the book sounds like a petulant, spoilt teenager.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

New book on Trump on the way.

"Trump Bannon row: 11 explosive claims from new book"

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42559436

Now Trump's lawyers seek to stop its release.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42570555

Why bother? After all it's "fake news" isn't it?

Absolutely. But it doesn't take insight into his private quirks to know that by now.
He always sounds like a petulant, spoilt teenager; "My button is bigger and more effective than yours" ?

Ah, pure jealousy then.

Your Momma!

This is too fun and hilarious. I would hate to go back to a "traditional" president. I enjoy seeing Trump kick everybody's butt and not even apologize for any of it. It is just waaay too funny.

Trump Rocks!

Yeah, but he's not though, is he...

You wish he has all these maverick qualities but if you strip away the bluster and comedy, he's just a washed up and exhausted joke one year into what he probably sees as a four year reality nightmare.

I wouldn't peg him for the full 8 given his penchant for junk food, vein popping fury, obesity and advancing years. Although maybe his regularity on the golf course is giving him some much needed exercise?

Please carry on with the comedy fanboy act, though (maybe for another week-10 days?), my office is loving the ongoing saga in this post-Christmas slump...

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

US President Donald Trump and South Korean President Moon Jae-in have agreed not to hold joint military drills during the Winter Olympic Games in February, Korea's presidential office said Thursday.

First win for North Korean leader Kim Jong Un

Actually, he has defeated all his opponents so far, and is still standing and fighting. Pretty amazing feat to date. That is the office of the POTUS we're talking about, and he's not done yet.

I'm sure there is some kind of downfall somewhere in this story. But so far, he truly is kicking ass, and its just the first week of January.

He's definitely a fighter. I like that. We haven't had a real US President for quite a long time, and its about time.

So pretty much like any president in history then? Defeats opponents, wins votes, takes office, stands and fights.

Hardly ground-breaking, is it? Come one Phos, you can do more ass-kissy stuff than that...

What's amazing is how many stupid people there are sucked in by him. Or do we call that "hilarious" these days?

BTW...
Bloke in my office wants to know what you do for a living.

You folks fail to understand that this is a war, not a beauty contest.
Your political opponent is not your enemy.

But perhaps that's the fundamental issue, it would explain many reactions. Just like the approaches that compare the current party politics with tribalism.
