I would go against Trump if and when he starts sounding like a Democrat, which may happen sometime this year.
One minute you support Donnie, the next you talk about being rid of him. I don't happen to care whether you support him or not but your smoke and mirrors muddle your message.

Hope you realize that this is also about Trump vs. a political-media complex that has repeatedly brought death and destruction upon the world.

CNN has beaten a many a drums to propagate for many wars over decades. Are you sure that is the side you want to take in all this? Or could you also be simply brainwashed by said political-media complex like a pavlovian dog?

This is too fun and hilarious. I would hate to go back to a "traditional" president. I enjoy seeing Trump kick everybody's butt and not even apologize for any of it. It is just waaay too funny.

Trump Rocks!

Your political opponent is not your enemy.

But perhaps that's the fundamental issue, it would explain many reactions. Just like the approaches that compare the current party politics with tribalism.
Naw, it is a fight. Trump ran as a reformist of sorts. He definitely declared and picked a fight against what he called a rigged system, a lying news media, and an establishment swamp that is working against the interests of the American people. It was his campaign and platform, what got him elected, and what he is following through with today in office.

A president with a comparable position from the past would be someone like Andrew Jackson.

It is just and legit.

Swamp! This is a President who gives senior roles to his children and to people who helped his campaign.

Trump has stocked his Cabinet with top donors — far more than any recent White House.

Some names.
Linda McMahon, the wrestling magnate whom Trump named to helm the Small Business Administration, with her husband, Vince, are the largest donors to Trump’s foundation.
Steven Mnuchin current United States Secretary of the Treasury chipped in $425,000
Trump’s choice to lead the Department of Education, Betsy DeVos, and her family spent $10.4 million this cycle, including $445,000 to Trump’s joint fundraising committee (known as Trump Victory) and one of the super PACs supporting him
Todd Ricketts and Andy Puzder were nominated by Trump but later withdrew.

Belonging to a Trump golf club is also useful see here.

It is just a new swamp with tax cut payoffs for the 1%!

New book on Trump on the way.

"Trump Bannon row: 11 explosive claims from new book"

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42559436

Now Trump's lawyers seek to stop its release.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42570555

Why bother? After all it's "fake news" isn't it?
Ironic, the man who insults people worldwide on twitter goes crying to his lawyers when he gets it back!

Ultimate irony will be when his lawyers will claim the book will demean the standing of the US Presidency.

Actually, he has defeated all his opponents so far, and is still standing and fighting. Pretty amazing feat to date. That is the office of the POTUS we're talking about, and he's not done yet.

I'm sure there is some kind of downfall somewhere in this story. But so far, he truly is kicking ass, and its just the first week of January.

He's definitely a fighter. I like that. We haven't had a real US President for quite a long time, and its about time.
No, he is not a fighter. As soon as someone pushes back he goes running to his lawyer. He is a snowflake!
Snowflake definition; These individuals think they are just as "unique" as snowflakes, when really their feelings are just as fragile.

Which would have made Trump call Kim Jong-un a wanker.

I'm sure he does it on purpose, at least in part. Which is why he's a troll.

...
but its awful trolling, it's like pointing outside at night and insisting it's a lovely sunny day - you just get embarrassed for him. Decent trolling should have some grounding in truth as a hook.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

The Justice Department has launched a new inquiry into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged in any pay-to-play politics or other illegal activities while Hillary Clinton served as Secretary of State, law enforcement officials and a witness tells The Hill.

Source

So a sitting President can use the Department of Justice to pursue political enemies?

Anyway they will have to hurry up, the Statute of Limitations for most such federal crimes is five years and Hillary left the Job in February 2013.

Naw, that is just not my kind of reading. I thought this kind of book and genre is perfect for Marton's level of interest.

I need something more palpably real and objective than that: Immigration reform, border walls, infrastructure projects, etc.

I think we can arguably state that Trump is one of the best presidents we've ever had for a very long time.

Looking forward to Week #2 of 2018. It is all very inspirational, tbh.
