I agree. But keep in mind it's not like he stood up on the podium at the UN and said this. This was *allegedly* said behind closed doors during negotiations. His political rivals went running to the news outlets with the quote like throwing raw meat to a lion. If they are really concerned about "embarrassing America" they wouldn't be so fast to air dirty laundry in public, would they?
I agree. But the media has gone apeshit with it. And if you don't agree with them, well then, you're a racist yourself | | | | | Well Trump had said if they could agree a bipartisan deal for the DACA (Dreamers) then he would sign it.
So after many hours and a lot of hard work they turned up at the White House with their agreed bipartisan deal and Trump rejected it "bigly" as a result they (both Dems and GOP) were very unhappy with him. After that they claimed he went into a racist rant and killed the negotiations so there were reasons they vented to the Press, maybe not the best reasons?
Of course, after the meeting they were under pressure from the Press to explain why they did not have the expected agreement.

If you’re wasting your time, it begs the question why bother posting?
Ps, I think you misattributed your "according to..." spiel. Sounding a bit RichDoggy with the smarter than thou groove. But please, do go on insulting people who you find laughable. | | | | | Greek!? And where’s the insult?

Loz1983 never claimed to be Greek.
Reading comprehension was always pretty poor on EF. I swear, however, that it's getting worse.

Or did I just read it incorrectly?

The London editor for Breitbart and former chief advisor to UKIP. The guy, regardless of his Muslim background is not exactly an impartial commentator. Seems he is happy to make a good living out of being an antagonist.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | In any case, the refugee/migrant line has been blurred a long time ago. | | | | | Which compromises the otherwise respectable institutions of political asylum and refugee so much that most people are taking these words and the concept behind them very lightly these days. After what we've seen lately, more than half of the world (three quarters?) could qualify for the "refugee" or "asylum seeker" status if we'd be honest. But they can't make it here, or anywhere in Europe or other countries with a good system devoted to such cases.
I don't agree with the general tone of neither of the sides here - neither Loz's nor TobiasM's. Things are a little more nuanced in reality.

What a plonker. It was the Bush administration that started the process. At least he didn't mention knife crime

Robert Mueller, the U.S. special counsel, says he wants the conspiracy and money-laundering trial of former Trump campaign Chairman Paul Manafort and his one-time associate Richard Gates to start on May 14.
Mueller’s request came Friday in a court filing disclosing that prosecutors have 590,000 items of evidence, including 2,200 documents labeled as “hot” to tell defense lawyers they are important.
The evidence includes statements the defendants made to law enforcement, as well as imaged copies of 87 electronic devices obtained during the investigation, such as laptops, phones and thumb drives. Source

Even the US embassy in London refuted Trump!
On Friday the U.S. embassy in London joined British officials in rebutting his claims.
The old building had “aged beyond its ability” to be improved to meet security and safety standards without a major infrastructure investment, the embassy said in a statement.
Teams surveyed more than 50 sites before settling on the area of Vauxhall, south of the river Thames, for the new location, according to the statement. Source |

Mountain of evidence | | | | | I seriously hope that something doesn't stuff this up. Like in some some crazy conspiracy movie, where the bad guys burn down the building with all the evidence or assassinate the snitch. I hope they have backed up the evidence. Still this is going to drag on through Trumps entire term in office and the damage he will do in that time is immense.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | Which in a nutshell is why people like Trump win elections. | | | | | I think I can understand a part of your point of view, some of what you've mentioned seems like a reasonable criticism, whether people like to admit or not. However, I'm not sure if you want to attribute all those knife crimes in UK to the black community. You know very well that linking a type of crime only to certain communities can be quickly dismantled by stats.
Most people who visited London enjoyed their time very much, calling this city "shithole" is silly. I can't take this stuff too seriously these days, Loz.
