So far, he's taken on these entities and has won, or still winning:
-The Republican Party
-The Democrat Party
-The UN
-Mainstream Media
-FBI
-WEF/Davos
-etc. I think even the Pope was in there somewhere in the past.
Funny, all those entities are still going strong and will continue to do so long after Trump is frogmarched out of the Oval Office and has snuffed it.

Apparently there's a memo circulating congress that details abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) by senior Justice Department and Federal Bureau of Investigations officials in relation to the investigation of the Trump campaign. If true could spell trouble for Obama, Comey and Hillary. Get the popcorn and the ready!

Republicans rally for public release of memo on FISA abuses
The Justice Department (DOJ) on Wednesday warned lawmakers not to publicly release a memo purporting to detail surveillance abuses by the U.S. government for fear it will harm national security and ongoing investigations.

Says the memo purports to be based on "classified source materials that neither you nor most of the committee have seen."

Source

So will the GOP sacrifice national security in a vain attempt to save Trump?

It is so sad and tragic, but so hilarious. Hahaha.
Maybe Trump's unexpected decision to visit Davos after Special Counsel Mueller issued him an interview invitation is his first step towards seeking Swiss asylum!

Switzerland being so tiny, chances are good he'll miss us and end up in Germany. Wouldn't that be lucky, Merkel will be delighted.

We will let him walk around on an N-permit for 5 years. That will teach him! During which time, financial assets are kept in Bern.

Dubya is a completely different kettle of fish. Like him or loath him, Trump is pure entertainment. 575 pages and still going strong! That book the Fire and Fury came out less than two weeks ago, and already people have moved on from talking about it. This is how it is with Trump and how quickly things move, I doubt we'll see the likes of him again as President (unless of course things have indeed changed for good in US politics). We should enjoy the ride while it lasts.
That book has sold 1.7 million copies, spent two consecutive weeks at No. 1 so far on the New York Times' hardcover nonfiction and combined print and e-book nonfiction charts.
The rights to "Fire and Fury" have been sold in 35 countries, and television rights were purchased by Endeavor Content.

People have not really "moved on"!

I tend to agree, though, that people get bored by such things very easily.

Buying a book is one thing. Reading it is another.

His presidency basically hinges on two things: bringing jobs back to the US and building that wall.

Everything else will be secondary.

Well, ok, if his marriage falls apart, that would be pretty nasty, too.

His voters and anybody who cared knew well enough that he was a pussy-grabbing so-so entrepreneur (three bankruptcies don't come out of nowhere).

Another reason he won was that the alternative was even worse - and I don't really see any improvement there.

I do agree, though, that his policies create unprecedented damage to the long-term political, social and economic stability of the US. But it's hardly his fault alone. He's just a catalyst of the many problems US politicians successfully ignored for decades.
He has just accelerated a development that started a long time ago.

It's history in the making, with us watching ;-)

The bad news is that it will affect everybody.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

GOP are pinning their hopes on people soon seeing their tax cuts and then viewing the GOP in a more favourable light.

But former President Barack Obama had a similar tax cut in 2009 and 2010, offering up to $800 to couples that went largely unnoticed.

As with the new Republican plan, Obama's "Making Work Pay" cut was parceled out incrementally by changing how much was withheld from millions of workers' paychecks.

The difficulty is that some may not notice the small increase in their pay check, especially when all sorts of other things can affect people's take-home pay, from pay increases to hikes in premiums for employer-sponsored health insurance.

Priceless, they asked for a Van Gough and got offered a golden sh*tter, so apt. I think as far as statements against this POTUS go that has to be the best one so far. It could also be a reference for his penchant for golden showers.

I'm worried Trump will not say or do anything bombastic on his Davos trip.

Maybe at least ONE mischievous gesture at the end?
