Pretty much every hospital I've visited in Canada has a Tim Hortons, or similar in the food court. TH isn't exactly health food, but it's not quite as unhealthy as just donuts or a burger with a side of fries.

The hospitals probably don't earn from it, other than rent for the space.

I remember when the Canadian hospitals had only the food from their own kitchen. It wasn't right for what most people are looking for in the forecourt (a coffee, a snack, or a sandwich).

Not exactly junk food either .I like the soups

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

More poor economic news for Trump.
The US trade deficit surged 12.1 percent to $566.0 billion in 2017, the highest since 2008. That represented 2.9 percent of GDP, up from 2.7 percent in 2016.

That is a larger US annual trade deficit than in any of the Obama years.

Even worse for Trump his tax cuts are driving wage increases and bonuses which will likely increase spending on imported goods in 2018 so pushing the trade deficit even higher

Seeing as Trump was so keen to take credit for any Wall St. success, will he now take ownership of the current crash?
US stocks opened low again this morning, then bounced up, then dropped down again; nobody has a clue which way they will break next.

Difficult for Trump! If he claims credit and they fall further then people will ask why doesn't he put the brakes on?

If he blames someone for the fall but they rise up again then he risks giving somebody else credit for the rise

So far Trump has claimed credit for the US stock market rise without any basis in fact?

So why not blame him for the global fall?

Practically speaking, you do know that many large companies are quoted on multiple stock exchanges so when their share price falls in the US then their share prices fall on all other exchanges?

Actually, my FB feed proves that both the left and the right share fake news. The right is worse on my feed, but the left is hardly free from nonsense.

Your personal FB feed doesn't really prove anything on a macro scale I am afraid. Anecdotal evidence is just that.

Not for Trump. He could shoot someone and still win.

I'm begging him to stop winning; he wins so much I wish he would stop winning. Can't take it anymore. Please, please Mr President...

Says the guy that posted a guardian link.

Anyway, it wasn't meant to imply I'm an expert. It's meant to show my own observations.

Also I can't find the link now, but someone posted recently about how the rampant number of fake accounts on Twitter, etc. that are responsible for feeding fake news. One wonders how many fake accounts were being tracked by the researchers without them realizing it.

please don't spread fake news. it's obvious that the global fall was triggered intentionally to discredit Trump.

Had you read said link or my post, you'd have seen the article was referencing an Oxford University study, nowt to do with the Graun.

Of course I agree, I have seen both sides' hyperbole, but my personal experience is irrelevant on a larger scale.

"So disgraceful that a person illegally in our country killed @Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson. This is just one of many such preventable tragedies. We must get the Dems to get tough on the Border, and with illegal immigration, FAST!" Trump tweeted
This was a tragic road accident. A group of Jackson's colleagues are criticising Trump for politicising the death of Jackson.

Meanwhile a road safety group are proposing to reduce the average of over 100 daily US road deaths by building walls around car dealerships

You ever heard the expression "when America sneezes, the world catches a cold"? That's why it's so important to everybody on this planet to have someone competent in charge of the US.

Again, did you actually read the article you linked? Do you ever? The author underscores the value of the NHS to the UK, while again pointing out that it is underfunded. So, not supporting your Trump retweets in any way whatsoever.
