So far, so good!

Tom
In the last decade EPA has taken many great steps to improve the quality of life through environmental regulations suct as MACT.

Maybe people dont realize but because of this regulation the air they are breathing are much cleaner.

Also, this regulation has generated a lot of local business and employment which can not be outsourced to low cost countries.

Wall of text ahead, but please bear with me, I'm trying to make good points:

I secretly hoped Trump would win. Not because I believe he'll be a good president (I have no idea), but Clinton is just so unsympathetic and uncharismatic that I couldn't support her message at all.

Trump played the obvious card of appealing to the disenfranchised low income white population in rural areas.
You've made some good points in the rest of your post - about the low-skilled jobs, but even there it's debatable.
However, if we are to talk about the charisma each candidate had and/or about the sympathy/empathy they managed to transmit to the audience, and you still say you'd take Trump over Hillary because he scored better here, I don't know what else can be said. His message was anything but sympathetic to any segment of the population - he played his card on stirring the pot and polarising the votes.
I have to admit that he is a very clever political construct (ha ha, the anti-establishment guy) of the Republicans, so I don't worry that he will actually run the country.
I have no idea whether he will be a good president or not because he's only a puppet who enjoys the appearance of power and the image associated with said power.
So relax everybody, we've been there, done that.

Which makes you far superior to the President Elect

I think we need a Venn diagram to sort this out correctly

I'm not sure if a lot of people already have racist views or if these views are being encouraged/sanctioned by politicians as a means to win votes/gain power. Did most Germans already blame the Jews for their problems before the rise of Adolf Hitler and National Socialism or were they encouraged to believe this by them?
I'm not sure if much can be learned from this comparison. I don't think Jews were ever a big point of contention in elections at the time. I have yet to see, for example, a pamphlet from one of the other parties of the day saying "Hitler is totally wrong about the Jews".

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

It seems like the new first family will be adequate candidates to occupy premises of the White House. Most likely some of them will be preoccupied with running charities and some of them will be going hunting regularly anyway. Therefore, they won't bother anyone with the actual presidential tasks at hand being left to officials knowledgeable at what their are doing.

US election: Trump children - who is the new first family?

Low skill manual labor jobs are gone and are never coming back again (unless humanity nukes itself back to the stone age).
Absolutely in the primary industries, but a big issue I've come across over the last few months is building industry tradesmen who are struggling to find and keep general labourers. Perhaps there is currently a short fall in secondary industries.

I'm a libertarian at heart and flinch every time someone says wealth redistribution, but even I see the writing on the wall that humanity is not far from the post scarcity era. When most human beings are "useless" in terms of production and their labor is no longer beneficial to society, shouldn't we start seriously looking at the notion that, maybe, just maybe, not everyone will be able or have to work?
Are we on the precipice of a post-industrial revolution? How do we address people from all industries becoming surplus to requirements? Is that the biggest challenge that we face?

Seriously? Grow up a bit. There are a few hundred pages of some good dialog, debates, and differing opinions. Comments like yours are one way for no one to take you seriously as well as the beliefs you have.

I take a lot of people at different level's of seriousness based on comments, actions, and intentions.

I see he has said a few politically-incorrect things, I've also her many brilliant people who are at the top of their fields say many politically incorrect things. These don't effect their ability to do their job.

I see Clinton has said a few politically-incorrect things as well. How this election went, these were not brought up in the mass media--but again I wouldn't say I can't take her seriously because of them.

I have read both of their positions in detail posted on the internet (hint: try googling them) and both sound good. I have also read the FBI report and the email investigation---to me this paints a picture of a very scary political individual. I can take an off coloured joke, I'm not so supportive of a corrupt con-artist.

Even if you disagree with all my points, and I fully support your right to do so, but it's hard to take YOU seriously with that comment.
