When you think now about the Lewinsky affair, it almost seems quaint.

Obviously if it sh*ts on the carpet it's game over. | | | | | It hasn't yet?!
Ahh, carpet is the keyword. Lot's of marble in the white house, right?

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | I'm sure we have all been waiting to see how Trump responds to Putins sabre rattling video showing a nuclear strike on Mar a Lago State. Wait no longer, the orange one has taken immediate and decisive action by tweeting
"Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!"
Probably some coded thread against Putin. Putin is scared of Darrell Hammond perhaps? | | | | | You should have posted his first version with the original spelling and structure | Quote: | | | | Donald J. Trump (R) @realDonaldTrump

But then again, if they don't listen they're characterised as arrogant, at best. Or dictatorian. See the comments on the EU in another thread.
To some they just can't do anything right it seems.

Sweden's Electrolux, Europe's largest home appliance maker, said today it would delay a planned $250 million investment in Tennessee, after U. S. President Donald Trump announced tariffs on imported aluminium and steel.
"We are putting it on hold. We believe that tariffs could cause a pretty significant increase in the price of steel on the U.S. market," Electrolux spokesman Daniel Frykholm said "although we buy all our steel domestically in the US".
A sole exception or the first of many?

Must be Friday!! | Quote: | | | | President Donald Trump is asking chief of staff John Kelly for help in pushing his daughter and son-in-law out of the White House, The New York Times reports.
The Times, citing two people familiar with Trump's views, said Trump has been frustrated with his son-in-law Kushner after his top secret security clearance was downgraded this week and a report came out that officials from four countries had discussed ways to manipulate him during their dealings on foreign policy. | | | | | Source
Very hard to believe that Trump would throw his family under the bus unless he is really getting desperate |

Europe is preparing to impose tariffs on Harley-Davidson (HOG) motorbikes, bourbon whiskey and Levi's jeans in retaliation for President Donald Trump's planned import taxes on steel and aluminum imports. Source

US bans material - Europe bans brands?! Wanna bet that came from Jean-Claude Juncker? And he was already too drunk to realize, he'll miss the Bourbon. | This user would like to thank curley for this useful post: | |

It is still Friday | Quote: | | | | President Donald Trump on Thursday suggested using the death penalty on drug dealers to address the opioid epidemic, equating providing lethal drugs with murder. | | | | | Source
Maybe he should also use the death penalty for doctors who write opioid prescriptions and the chemist shops that fulfil them
Edit; Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt dismissed evolution as an unproven theory, lamented that “minority religions” were pushing Christianity out of “the public square” and advocated amending the Constitution to ban abortion, prohibit same-sex marriage and protect the Pledge of Allegiance and the Ten Commandments, according to a newly unearthed series of Oklahoma talk radio shows from 2005.
Pruitt, who at the time was a state senator, also described the Second Amendment as divinely granted and condemned federal judges as a “judicial monarchy” that is “the most grievous threat that we have today." Source |

According to google 99% of Levi jeans are manufactured outside the US.
Also all parts for Harley-Davidson motorbikes are manufactured outside the US, in the US they only assemble the parts into bikes. There are also such assembly plants outside of the US in Brazil and India; HD have been talking about reducing costs by moving all their assembly plants outside of the US for some time.
So tariffs on Levi jeans would only hurt those countries outside of the US that actually manufacture and export them? Or did I miss something?
