Did you watch Question Time last night - Will Self told the public that comparing Farage and Trump to Hitler was a bit silly as neither had the stature or intelligence, and were just 'grabby (grubby? - both, I'd say) little opportunists.

Funny that a country that has spent billions and killed hundreds of thousands implementing regime changes around the world is worried that Russia hacked some emails and put out some social media posts in order to influence an election.

At that, a country whose movies, shows, music and other cultural exports (which were 99% fake) is suddenly concerned when somebody else imitates their game and spreads some fake stories.

Do you rate NBC and CNN news as badly as the PE does, according to his latest Twitter feed?

With the PE giving exclusive interviews to Fox News, is it fair that he shows a blatant preference for a news organisation run by his old buddy, Murdoch?

I don't watch NBC or Fox news, and only occasionally watch CNN.

There won't be a war as in if China attacks Taiwan, the US will not get involved? Or you think that China will not attack Taiwan on the basis that the US will defend Taiwan even though Trump has made noises about countries defending themselves and free-riding on the US?

It seems that politicians in Taiwan are getting nervous: having taken Trump's words at face value they are considering the possibility that rather than really caring about freedom and democracy, it is more likely that he's using Taiwan just as a bargaining chip and will not stand behind them in any meaningful way.
