Trump on his lawyer Cohen this morning on Fox & Friend | Quote: | | | | “He represents me with this crazy Stormy Daniels deal. From what I see, he did absolutely nothing wrong,” Trump said.
Trump previously said he had no knowledge of a $130,000 payment Cohen made as part of the agreement. | | | | | Source
Stormy's lawyer Avenatti said on MNSBC’s “Morning Joe” that the president’s statement is a “gift from the heavens," adding that he wanted to "send a shout out to Fox & Friends."

Trump just cannot shut up. He just admitted that Cohen did represent him in the Stormy Daniels affair, which as Avenatti pointed out, he previously denying knowing anything about. The problem with lies is that you have to remember a shedload of stuff to keep your story consistent. I'm loving it.

EPA head Scott Pruitt presented to lawmakers in two separate Congress hearings today a “threat assessment” that he said came from Inspector General Arthur Elkins detailing various death threats against him.
Later Office of the Inspector General spokeswoman Kentia Elbaum said in a statement "“The memo that he read from was not from Inspector General Elkins.
It was an internal memo from Assistant IG for Investigations Patrick Sullivan.
It was leaked without authorization.” Source
I remember when Trump was elected that someone posted that so much chaos would happen we would no longer be shocked or surprised by such events.
Sadly they were correct.
Lying to Congress under oath is something one can be jailed for
EDIT: At the same hearings Scott Pruitt acknowledged that he had lied -- straight up! -- on Fox News last week when he said this: "I did not know that they got the pay raises until yesterday."
At issue: Two EPA employees had received early raises totaling more than $80,000 -- end-running the White House, which opposed the salary increases, in the process. Source |

The FBI told Congress on Thursday that the agency informed White House officials about domestic abuse allegations against former White House staff secretary Rob Porter in March of last year, contradicting claims made by top Trump administration officials.
The FBI presented Congress with a timeline of events surrounding its investigation into Porter for his security clearance, which included a letter to the White House in March of last year that reportedly included the domestic abuse allegations. Source

If he comes to London, President Trump will experience an open and diverse city that has always chosen unity over division and hope over fear.
He will also no doubt see that Londoners hold their liberal values of freedom of speech very dear.

Naked extortion | Quote: | | | | Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
The U.S. has put together a STRONG bid w/ Canada & Mexico for the 2026 World Cup.
It would be a shame if countries that we always support were to lobby against the U.S. bid.
Why should we be supporting these countries when they don’t support us (including at the United Nations)? | | | | | Surely this contravenes the FIFA bid rules of conduct here especially the sections about exerting influence?
Edit: Consequently FIFA should throw out the US bid?

I remember Dover as a pretty "characterful" place. Is that where you mean? At the time we lived briefly in Sittingbourne, North Thanet. I would not wish our spot downwind of the paper factory even on Trump.

The last few days of news has just been amazing, the Fox News rant was truly a demonstration of how unhinged and incoherent he is becoming. Even his staunchest supporters must have been cringing. Hoping for impeachment or resignation within the next few months... it now seems realistic enough. | This user would like to thank Chuff for this useful post: | |

Well **** me, clearly I must have missed a lot of articles over the last few weeks if Kim Jong has just apparently agreed to "complete denuclearization" and "to become one again". http://metro.co.uk/2018/04/27/north-...again-7502578/
Call me sceptical and I would be happy to be proven wrong with things like this, but how/why does a cruel and iron-fisted dictator used to being the absolute ruler of his domain suddenly decide to re-integrate himself with his "sworn enemy" who a year ago he was apparently ready to obliterate? Could two peoples even of the same heritage but with such polarising cultures suddenly re-integrate themselves in any normal fashion? Could he really have been so badly misjudged, or is this all part of some devilish plan? | Quote: | | | | Kim acknowledged the widespread skepticism over their summit. ‘We have reached big agreements before but were unable to fulfill them. … There are skeptical views on whether the meeting today will yield meaningful results.’ | | | | | Sounds to me like PR BS by Kim designed to take heat off of North Korea... but yeah, would love to be proven wrong.

Or is it just the media that paints Pence as "worse than Trump, but better manners"?
