I tend to think that the most outraged left press (NYT looks like to be), will gladly accuse Trump to be inhumane when he calls MS-13 criminals "animals" for the inhuman acts they do. The gravity of Trump calling them animals and the acts MS-13 do, don't compare. PCness or those who abuse it will deliberately sway people's attention to that, though. Human rights of criminals when Trump speech was about protecting the human rights or lives of those who might be affected by immigrated MS-13. Context.
"who might be affected by immigrated MS-13. Context" Well most of the members of MS-13 in the US are US citizens but yes let us hit the immigrants
Meanwhile this is National Infrastructure Week in the US.
Actually I thought Infrastructure improvement was the best part of Trump's campaign but he has been strangely quiet this week, last year he officially opened National Infrastructure Week with a White House speech.
There is no planned action on Infrastructure in Congress before mid terms and who knows what Congress will look like after the elections; there is bipartisan support for Infrastructure but it does not seem likely anybody wants to add another trillion to the debt!
Anyway with technically full employment in the US (no. of vacancies = no. of unemployed) where will they get the extra people to build the infrastructure, from immigration?

It's like in Italy - not seeing their centuries old, home grown Mafia and its activities...now please tell me what is America innovating in domestic politics... Blaming immigrants for every evil while disregarding their contribution to society? Uhm - check! Done in Europe as we speak. So why are some of you more concerned with what happens there and were not concerned with Brexit and stuff. For instance. The idea of British giving lessons to USA is hilarious. I'll say it with every opportunity I'll have.
Maybe that is your way of interpreting it. And why shouldn't you be entitled to it. But it is still your interpretation. Taking one single word out of context and overinterpreting it just to actually go back and read up what it refers to - he got you exactly where he wanted you...actually reading the context.
Btw, "dangerous rabble rousing" refers to MS-13 or Trump?
Ok, that was a rhetorical question.
Seems to be a common interpretation

Wow, word seems to be coming out that the Obama FBI “SPIED ON THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN WITH AN EMBEDDED INFORMANT.”
Andrew McCarthy says, “There’s probably no doubt that they had at least one confidential informant in the campaign.” If so, this is bigger than Watergate!
Well of course the FBI has sources in the Trump camp who agreed to cooperate; George Papadopoulos, Michael Flynn now Rick Gates and probably soon Michael Cohen.
I think Rex Tillerson was onto something when he said Trump is a moron!
BTW Tillerson gave a speech yesterday
Quote:
"A responsibility of every American citizen to each other is to preserve and protect our freedom by recognizing what truth is and is not, what a fact is and is not and begin by holding ourselves accountable to truthfulness and demand our pursuit of America's future be fact-based -- not based on wishful thinking, not hoped-for outcomes made in shallow promises, but with a clear-eyed view of the facts as they are, and guided by the truth that will set us free to seek solutions to our most daunting challenges."

So now it is OK to call criminals animals?
Don't forget all illegal immigrants are criminals because they are illegal immigrants and broke the immigration laws.
That deoends on whether immigration laws are civil laws or criminal laws.
Probably they are a mix of both, so you would have to look at each case individually to see precisely which laws they broke.

Under federal law, it is a crime for anyone to enter into the US without the approval of an immigration officer.
Many foreign nationals, however, enter the country legally every day on valid work or travel visas, and end up overstaying for a variety of reasons.
But that's not a violation of federal criminal law -- it's a civil violation.

An activist is raising money to send a Mariachi band and taco truck to the offices of a New York lawyer who threatened to call immigration authorities on Spanish-speaking restaurant employees on Wednesday.
People in the restaurant made videos on their handy so the guy was identified, probably would not be legal here to publish such videos?
Meanwhile during an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Stormy's attorney Michael Avenatti said he is in talks with two women who allege they have agreements with either Trump or his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, to stay quiet about an affair with the president.
Avenatti stressed, however, that he has not yet fully confirmed the allegations to be true.
Edit: Rep. Mo Brooks (R-La.) on Thursday said that rocks from the White Cliffs of Dover and the California coastline, as well as silt from rivers tumbling into the ocean are contributing to globally high sea-levels. Brooks made the comment during a House Science, Space and Technology Committee hearing on technology and the changing climate Source

"Somewhat" less common. I'd guess there'd be approximately one user of that spelling worldwide, and he lives in temporary accommodation in Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC.
I love where "imbed" fits in the list of words in Merriam-Webster. Did Trump find it while looking up words to describe himself (imbellious not included, obviously)?

Let's just agree
Obama uses a rare or unusual word -> it's because he's so intelligent.
Trump uses a rare or unusual word -> it's because he's so stupid.

One of the White House's moves to crack down on leaks reportedly came after a junior aide was found to have recorded meetings with President Trump and later played them to impress friends.
that, or he's trolling the usual suspects, with the usual totally predicatble outcome?
Believe me, Trump's vocabulary is extremely limited. Very limited. So limited. Believe me, it's true.
Actually, I doubt he even wrote that tweet himself. I suspect someone else strung the words together, and a third person then corrected the error (sorry, rare and unusual word). The Trumpian linguistic patterns are quite easy to spot, when he says or actually writes something himself.
