Believe me, Trump's vocabulary is extremely limited. Very limited. So limited. Limitedestly. Believe me, it's true.

People deliberately change their lexical register for political goals. To try to appeal to those who aren't snoby about their intellectual achievements isn't so bad. Life isn't just about showing off one's pedigree, intellect, spelling or variety of vocab. I think that's actually Trump's point, lol.

You think Spanky is trying to say he is not intellectual? Really?
"Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don't feel so stupid or insecure,it's not your fault" - Donald Trump
"You know, people don’t understand. I went to an Ivy League college, I was a nice student. I did very well. I’m a very intelligent person." - Donald Trump
It's generally other people who say he is "not an intellectual", or, if you prefer, "effing moron"
If it talks stupid, acts stupid and writes stupid, its more likely to be stupid than a social media genius.

If it talks stupid, acts stupid and writes stupid, its more likely to be stupid than a social media genius. | | | | | I think one can be an intellectual without being exceptionally smart, and vice versa.
Being an intellectual is not really about one's intelligence but about the sort of stuff you like to talk about, and the way you talk about it.
Trump is claiming to be very smart without being intellectual. His detractors are saying, seeing he isn't an intellectual, he can't be very smart.

Definition of intellectual;
" developed or chiefly guided by the intellect rather than by emotion or experience "

Trump is claiming to be very smart without being intellectual. His detractors are saying, seeing he isn't an intellectual, he can't be very smart. | | | | | Or, that the one cannot be smart because one tweets weird things. Or things some people want to pretend that they do not exist. His MO is to not suck up yet the opponents flame him for not wanting to suck up. Who's more clever. It is like people who will flame somebody for "not having social skills" when that person is trying to deliberately point out that the idea of social skills as is being enforced, are in fact bully mechanisms that shut open debates.

Meanwhile still Friday | Quote: | | | | The attorney representing adult-film actress Stormy Daniels called on President Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani on Friday, calling him an "embarrassment" for his media appearances discussing the president's legal issues.

A never ending joke.
Don’t let this serve as your legacy.
The time has come." | | | | | "This is getting too easy. What an absolute train wreck this guy is. EVERY time!!!" Avenatti tweeted, linking to Giuliani's Friday morning appearance on CNN.

President Trump has reportedly urged the U.S. postmaster general to double shipping rates for Amazon.com and other companies amid months of his continued criticism that the online retailer is costing the Postal Service "billions" of dollars in revenue.
Trump has personally met with Postmaster General Megan Brennan multiple times since 2017 to petition her for a hike on rates for Amazon and other firms that ship packages, The Washington Post reported Friday, citing officials familiar with the conversations.
The president's demands came despite counsel from close advisers and top Postal Service employees that Amazon, the largest shipper of packages through USPS, actually helps keep it afloat financially. Source
It is difficult when you have a President who uses his position to pursue personal aims.
Meanwhile
Fox News anchor Bret Baier said "it pains me" when he hears his network referred to by critics and competitors as "state TV" for the Trump administration in an interview with The New Yorker that was published Friday.
In the piece, The New Yorker mentions Baier as attempting to maintain journalistic integrity while working in an environment that "often" celebrates President Trump. Source |
