That's not what Johnson was convicted for though, right?
Therefore I do not agree with Obama's argumentation.

On the other hand I find it strange, that some famous guy gets pardoned for having been a victim of racism. As Trump would/should therefore have to do this for all such victims in the US (as he can only do it for the US). He would be busy for ever. (which would be a double good thing, actually )

And to pull this further: A black guy did time for having a white girl-friend (later wife) and he gets ..... PARDONED?! So what's the message? They forgive him for having a white girlfriend/wife?! You can only forgive mistakes .... so they forgive him but it was a mistake after all?
And again, what about all the others who were in such a relationship?

If I may say so, this is a load of crap!

That was 18xx. We know what the past was like. Many of us <hint> have learnt from studying history and/or were brought up accordingly.
What are they trying to do? Change history? "Yeah, well, that was really wrong but hey, he/they were pardoned two centuries later" ...

I'm really gagging on the word pardoned. In fact, the longer I think about this, the more worked up I get. Oh dear, it was such an extremly peaceful day so far.

LOL, never mind me. I know Spanky has done dumber things.

As Trump is a Christian - does he believe this Johnson guy will now switch from hell to heaven?

Put pressure on the Democrats to end the horrible law that separates children from there parents once they cross the Border into the U.S. Catch and Release, Lottery and Chain must also go with it and we MUST continue building the WALL! DEMOCRATS ARE PROTECTING MS-13 THUGS.
"pressure on the Democrats to end the horrible law" To which party belongs the President, Senate, House?

"there parents " their parents?

"continue building the WALL! DEMOCRATS ARE PROTECTING MS-13 THUGS" You do know criminal gangs like MS-13 earn enormous money from their activities; when they need new recruits from other countries then they fly them in business class with tourist visas - running over the border is so outmoded.

The gang's annual revenue is about $31.2m

When will the 13 Angry Democrats (& those who worked for President O), reveal their disqualifying Conflicts of Interest? It’s been a long time now! Will they be indelibly written into the Report along with the fact that the only Collusion is with the Dems, Justice, FBI & Russia?
It is always difficult to interpret Spankie's tweets but we know he has earlïer claimed Special counsel Mueller's team consists of 13 Democrats.
The exact size of Mueller's team has never been published but we know there are at least 50.
The elephant in the room of Trump's argument is that Mueller himself is a long term Republican.

Another Trump barefaced lie

Quote:
Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

The Failing @nytimes quotes “a senior White House official,” who doesn’t exist, as saying “even if the meeting were reinstated, holding it on June 12 would be impossible, given the lack of time and the amount of planning needed.” WRONG AGAIN! Use real people, not phony sources.
An audio recording of a conversation between reporters and a senior White House official released Saturday disproved President Trump's claims that a source quoted by The New York Times "doesn't exist."

Meanwhile
MSNBC's Nicole Wallace stops reading Trump tweets on air: 'These are boldface lies'

Source

These are boldface lies and as his audacity and his sort of fantasies expand, I wonder what role you think the truth plays in this for any of them."

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Rep. Thomas Garrett (R-Va.) announced Monday that he will be stepping down in January,

Garrett is the 44th House Republican who will either retire or not seek reelection this year; for comparison with the previous record - after Nixon resigned only 21 Republicans retired.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

I just read his Memorial Day tweet, just wow. That it was a tweet instead of an address was disrespectful but the content... words fail me.

His supporters should take a long hard look at themselves, this is a pathetic excuse for a man.

People who try to shame others for mere opinions should take a long look at themselves. Let's have a good debate without shaming anyone.

Can't say i understand where you got that from tbh. That you thought that makes me think you associate shame with supporting Spanky.

But hey, let's go with it, racism is an opinion, homophobia is an opinion.

Well this is nonsense. Some opinions, like your latest missive, deserve to be ridiculed and shamed.

Meanwhile the Trump effect in action

After the Yankees' PA announcer at Yankee Stadium's Memorial Day game on Monday in New York City said President Trump’s lawyer and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was in the stands and wished him a happy birthday, the crowd erupted into boos.

Short Video of the booing

I hope the people in the Yankee stadium are taking long looks at themselves.

So Kim Jong-un (allegedly) destroyed their "North Korea’s only known nuclear test site" in front of journalists and (factually) let American detainee free.
How exactly are the "strongest sanctions ever imposed" appropriate right at this moment?
Unconfirmed articles claimed that the site was to be shut anyway as a consequnce of the holes and general geological instabiltiy created by the tests.

But yes, Trump just keeps showing that US promises, at least during his presidency, can't be relied upon.

I think it is probably just to reassure his diners they won't have to share a restaurant with Trump devotees.
