Trump doesn't give a hoot about his credibility. He talks a lot, he changes his mind a lot, and he doesn't follow up. This makes him incredinly unpredictable, which can be something that strikes much more fear into his oppopnens
For someone who supposedly doesn't give a hoot about his credibility, he gets disproportionately (and publicly) touchy about it when he's called out on it.

Then let me be more precise.

He doesn't give a hoot abouit his credibility as far as other heads of state are concerned.

Remember the G7 summit and all that.

Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Prize by Norwegians

President Donald Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in reaching an agreement to work toward de-nuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

The U.S leader was nominated by two members of Norway’s governing Progress Party, according to state broadcaster NRK. The deadline for this year’s prize passed in January, so this nomination would make him eligible for next year.

Oh please, please, please let Trump win the Nobel Peace prize I would just love watching all the liberal-media-talking-heads exploding like balloons at a kids party

...and plus of course he deserves it, right?

The nobel price has reached the importance of winning the eurovision song contest or the beauty contest.

Obama got it before he even did anything. And Trump ..... ..... all you gotta do is ask for it, it seems.

Can you too hear the rattling from Alfred's grave as he's turning?

I think any American governmental official winning it is a bit of a joke.

You'd think that running about 17 simulataneous wars might disqualify you.

I look forward to him tweeting "If you don't vote for me to win the Nobel Peace Prize, I'll hit you" though.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood (D) filed a lawsuit against President Trump, the Donald J. Trump Foundation and members of the Trump family on Thursday, alleging that the charity has violated federal and state law.

The lawsuit, filed in the New York State Supreme Court, calls for the foundation to be dissolved.

“For more than a decade, the Donald J. Trump Foundation has operated in persistent violation of state and federal law governing New York State charities,” the complaint states.

“This pattern of illegal conduct by the Foundation and its board members includes improper and extensive political activity, repeated and willful self-dealing transactions, and failure to follow basic fiduciary obligations or to implement event elementary corporate formalities required by law.

http://thehill.com/regulation/court-...ump-foundation

Ironic when we consider how many times Trump has attacked the Clinton Foundation without any evidence.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

This latest lawsuit is a much bigger deal than it may at first appear. Once the AG starts digging into the finances and disbursements of the Donald J. Trump Foundation, who knows what she'll turn up. And if Trump makes just one provable "misstep" (aka lie) during the running of this case, he will open himself up to a world of political pain—once again, outside his sphere of influence with regard to pardons, as the charges have been laid at the state (as well as federal) level.

Sort of. His attorneys could fight to combine cases and take to federal court.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Busy day today

A judge has rejected Michael Cohen’s request for an emergency gag order against adult-film star Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti

A federal judge ordered Paul Manafort to jail Friday after revoking the former Trump campaign chairman's bail due to his alleged attempted witness tampering.

Trump claimed the Justice Department’s inspector general (IG) report had cleared his name, even though that was not one of its conclusions or purposes.
Then spoilt his own claim by saying "the IG report was a horror show. I thought that one sentence of conclusion was ridiculous."

Trump blamed Democrats for the separation of children from their parents at the border, even though it is his own administration’s policy to split up the families when people are apprehended making illegal crossings.
Trump also said Friday that he would not sign a compromise immigration bill drafted by House Republicans that would end the family separation policy

Trump confirmed that his longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen “is not my lawyer anymore.”

I was thinking of the fact that Trump demands 100% loyalty from his people but dumps them as soon as any problem arises!

The sleazy New York Democrats, and their now disgraced (and run out of town) A.G. Eric Schneiderman, are doing everything they can to sue me on a [Trump] foundation that took in $18,800,000 and gave out to charity more money than it took in, $19,200,000. I won’t settle this case!...
Amusing article here about the workings of the Trump foundation.

The Foundation did some true charitable work -

The walls at Trump’s Doral Golf Resort and at Trump National Golf Club Westchester did look a little bare, so using foundation money to buy portraits of our fearless leader (and future Nobel laureate) is understandable.

President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani said that he disagrees with Trump’s claim that the Justice Department’s internal report on the handling of the Clinton email probe “totally exonerates him.”

Problem is due to the one trillion $ or two trillion $ overspend (depending on who you believe) already approved by GOP in tax cuts and new budget despite their claims of "conservative spending" and "fiscal responsibility", so GOP does not want to approve additional many billions for a Wall!

Did you know:

<< the #MagicResistance movement. Every month, self-identifying witches gather to cast "mass spells" on Donald Trump, and use tarot to assist them in the task.

The Tower card, commonly used in Trump spells, depicts a solid tower being struck by lightning, and flames emerging from small windows at its top.>>

LOL.

Tarot is actually "white magic", maybe that's why it doesn't work?

Worthy of Friday

Quote:
Former Trump campaign adviser and long time Trump confidant Roger Stone said that he met with a Russian man during the 2016 campaign who wanted President Trump to pay $2 million for damaging information on Hillary Clinton.

Stone rejected the offer.

“You don’t understand Donald Trump,” Stone said he told the man. “He doesn’t pay for anything.”

Clearly not supportive of collusion claims but an interesting glimpse of Spanky!!

EDIT: George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, said allegations that the Donald J. Trump Foundation may have violated campaign finance laws should be referred to the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan.

“These are obviously very serious allegations, and they should be referred to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York,” George Conway tweeted Sunday morning.

Source

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway is one of Trump's most trusted aides but nevertheless her husband has over the last year published a lot of advice that is unhelpful for Trump!
