Um, and what about all these people trying to get who aren't obeying the rule of law. There are rules about getting into most countries after all. Surely we should expect them to obey them?
Wow. Really? You support summary decisions without regard to the rule of law? Have you read the US Constitution? I have; Trump (despite swearing an oath to defend it) clearly hasn't.

I can't see Trump lasting his full term. Some time, even his staunchest sycophantic supporters in Congress have to see his unbridled megalomania and self-serving motivations.

The audio-book of it for presidents is still in the making, I guess.

He's moved on from immigration now, and into ramping up the trade war.

The elephant in this room is that any countries who change tariffs on US imports then have to according to WTO rules change the same tariffs on all imports.

Sure, but they have the right to have their day in court and to defend their actions.
Or do you believe everybody suspected of a crime should be simply convicted without putting their defence before a court like they do in Russia or Turkey?

I never said that. I just asked why people think they can turn up somewhere and expect to get let in when they don't meet the immigration rules for that country? Especially as many are not genuine refugees, but economic migrants who wouldn't qualify to get in any other way. To my mind that's taking the piss.

Of course children have been seperated from their parents, wasn't that the issue?

I was just pointing out the Fake News published by Time Magazine for which they had to issue a correction and admit the story was fabricated.
No you weren't, you were grasping for anything to support your hero's narrative. The story, as you acknowledged, is 'children separated from their parents' the story was documented by a wrong photo and a correction was published.

The only 'Fake News', to use the phrase you keep parroting, I've seen goes uncorrected, 'bigger inauguration crowd than Obama', pizzagate, 'massive voter fraud' basically anything that comes out of Spankys mouth.

You've been challenged on it before and failed to deliver, post an example of a genuinely made up negative story about Spanky, not a mistake that is corrected but something as fake as Pizzagate, or the hilarious 'who are you going to believe, me or your own eyes?' inauguration crowd claim.

Wow, that's extreme whataboutism right there, so the government should be exempt from the law because there are people who don't obey the law.

Seriously?

Time Magazine issues correction for their cover photo depicting child separation

The original version of this story misstated what happened to the girl in the photo after she (was) taken from the scene. The girl was not carried away screaming by U.S. Border Patrol agents; her mother picked her up and the two were taken away together.

And they photoshopped him from Home Alone 2, where he was actually HELPING a kid. Unbelievable.

Don't be silly. Have you actually looked at the two pics of Trump? Unless the photoshopping stretched to changing his suit, tie and making him look 30 years older...

Besides, perhaps we shouldn't get to deeply into the details of the cover of Time Mag being **cough** altered on the subject of Trump.

You play with fire, you gonna get burnt...

Your mistake was using the word "photoshopped." You may be right, however, that Time based their cover on that exact shot from Home Alone.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Does the picture look like the Home Alone 2 one/ Yes. But only like, only a dim wit would think it is shopped from there. But from where does the Trump picture come from?

The truth may shock you, and picture No. 6 will have you in tears! (Clickybaity ).

Trump normally wears a red tie. One of the occasion he was wearing a blue striped tie and he actually bowed his head was during Memorial day 2017.

On this day there where two occasions when he bowed is head, first was when he laid down a
wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider
https://www.upi.com/Trump-on-Memoria...1781527519019/

and, here comes the tear jerker part, when he met 6-year-old son Christian Jacobs at the grave of his father, Marine Sgt. Christopher Jacobs, who died during a training accident in California in 2011.

Do with this information what you want. You might have heard it from me first. I am sure other will come to the same conclusion and once the right wing zealots will find out the fire will really start.

Wait, you mean Trump took Macaulay Culkin away from his parents? That bastard! No wonder Macaulay is so messed up now.

Humank has made some interesting contributions
Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Poverty rates in the US in 2016:
-1 in 8 people
-21% for people with disabilities
-21.2% of all children
-6.7% in *deep poverty*
-2.8 million children living on less than $2 a day

Overall, US has a high quality of life - but not for everyone. This is just ignorant.

Do you have a link or are these figures that you think it might be approximately?
