The follow-up meeting President Donald Trump proposed holding with his Russian counterpart in the fall will no longer happen this year, the White House said on Wednesday.

Possibly due to the fact I posted earlier that Russia did not accept the US invitation

You know there’s going to come a day when Trump won’t be president anymore and where you won’t have to create your own realities.

I see it mainly in the US media, there is nothing else but Trump, and so exaggerated - they can't be possibly talking about a human being. What are they going to do? How will they sell? People don't react to them anymore there, it's not reporting, it is industrial confabulation.

In yet another step towards dictatorship the Trump administration have doctored the official Government record of the Trump/Putin Press conference

Source

Sadly, probably nobody will care or take any official action.

EDIT; so did the Russians; "doctored their official Government record"
Interesting that none of the Trump fanboys in EF commented on this.

Breaking News ...

WASHINGTON—Explaining that the release of the secretly recorded conversation between Donald Trump and Michael Cohen could not have come at a better time, Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated Wednesday that playing the tape backward reveals a hidden message exonerating Trump from any misconduct.

Sorry, I think you got the same problem as Trump with these n''t-words.
Shouldn't it say:
<<You know there’s going to come a day when Trump won’t be president anymore and where you will have to create your own realities>>

..... as Trump won't do that for us all anymore?

Was that sarcasm? Or did you post before having the first coffee?

And there we go again:

<<In a bid to de-escalate the quarrel, Mr Trump said he and Mr Juncker had agreed on Wednesday to "work together toward zero tariffs, zero non-tariff barriers, and zero subsidies" on non-car goods.>>

"kind of a double negative" again? WTF is zero non-tariff barrier in real life? The "non-tariff barrier" in itself is already quite a word-creation

Like all Trump "success" stories there is a lack of detail and dates and carries the usual risk it will all be blown out of the water at any time by a tweet.

One point
Quote:
Trump said: “The European Union is going to start almost immediately to buy a lot of soybeans
How is that going to work? EU is not yet a communist state that can order companies what to buy? How will that be controlled; who will check and report on soybean exports to the EU?

Seems Sky talks like Trump. It's in the commas and the not repeating words at the wrong place, innit.
The Guardian says:<< they struck a deal to work towards “zero” tariffs, barriers and subsidies.>>
While this is still not to be expected to happen, at least the sentence makes sense now.

Very tough for Juncker if these are really Trump's aims.
So far as I understand the WTO rules are that if the U.S. and the E.U. drop all Tariffs, Barriers and Subsidies then they must allow all countries the same free access.
Then the EU (and the US) would be flooded with low price goods from the third world.
Not sure if Trump understands what he is asking for?
Looks more like you don't understand it because FTA's are exempt. Otherwise the EU's EEA for instance would have to apply to all outsiders.

Do you really think the US is going to drop $200 billion in agricultural subsidies and price guarantees?

If so, would you be interested in buying that bridge over the Rade in Geneva? I can get you a good deal ...
The suggested agreement is limited to industrial goods except cars.

Have to share this for the headline alone (which is funnier than the article).

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Said agreement seems to ignore the EU’s €50 billion and the US’s $200 billion in agri-subsidies and price guarantees.

Industrial goods except cars (what about light trucks?). Well I guess this means big contributions from Cummings et. al.

Oh you have to be called out on that, is it your position that the white house did not edit the video AND transcript to remove an embarrassing question and answer? That the segment was removed is a matter of fact, saying 'fake news' makes as much sense as 'down with facts', I have still, despite repeated challenges, yet to see any Spanky story in the dreaded MSM that is made up. Made up, not mistaken and corrected.

This goes back to my earlier point about Spankys fans believing any old crap.

My major takeaway was Trump had stopped threatening the EU with new tariffs which is why I labelled it as a relief.

Everything else I labelled as rhetoric with no details or dates; hopefully we will eventually see some real progress?

There is nothing new in your link versus what has already been posted here?

I assume you posted this link because of the provocative headline rather the content; or can you point to something new in the content?
