Yes, but most people use it incorrectly then "hilariously" over-use it.

Phos is the epitome of a *Snowflake, actually. It's not difficult to get him to go off on one...

Ah, and I just melted.

You'll find snowflakes in their response, and how it appeals to shrill emotives, and somewhere in it is some ad hominem to try to virtue signal. Its classic response from you and the likes of Blueangel. To be honest, they are soo off point that I rarely even respond to them anymore. But I'm sure you would like to think you're winning.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he's going to be a great President.
I think it completely depends on how much of his views make it into policy, rather than be completely managed by the team around him!

Yup. Some snowflake just gave me red rep because they were triggered - and notice that they never actually respond on the thread because they know they'll get chopped in a debate

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Reading the last couple of pages of this thread, I really despair for the future of the Conservative movement.

Just as the left has been hijacked by middle class busybodies with little interest in the desires or needs of the proletariat, so has conservatism been hijacked by the kind of people who in previous ages would never have had a voice outside sawdust strewn public bars.

It makes me sad. The fact that someone like Donald Trump can be considered a conservative is bad enough, but now we have people throwing words like "libtard" around and claiming to be on our side.

Where's the dignity? Where's the decency?

You disgust me.

Well, it's very telling that you think that the thread is something to "win". It's a discussion. Clearly you can't take anyone with a differing opinion to you, and that is patently clear from every hot-button thread on this forum you derail.

You turned it into a pissing competition but you are the only with his zip down.

You haven't actually contributed one useful piece of information for probably the entirety of the thread, your main line of comments consist of defensive sniping, point-scoring and insults, punctuated by impotent outbursts that Trump will somehow be "fun" which, OK, is your opinion but we don't need it repeating on every other page. Oh and you seem to love the words "shrill" and "snowflake". Apart from that you are pretty much an empty vessel.

Now, maybe you should shake off, zip up and let people keep with the topic of the thread.

Ahahaha I and a few others are the only telling the truth about this situation. What have you added? Oh, never mind, don't answer that, as I know it will be worthless imaginary crap anyway.

Ironically many people said similar things about Trump and look what happened!

No, honey, you are giving everyone your "opinion". There's a world of difference. Look it up.

Admittedly you are giving it with the frequency of a privy door in a gale but it's still your own opinion and that doesn't make it "true".

Oh dear.

No, seriously, frankly, to level-set, I don't think you truly comprehend nearly half of what I post, as demonstrated with your follow up questions and responses. I suspect the disconnect goes beyond mere political affinity, and more around their philosophical roots. It's nothing personal, as I simply do not see your interactions with me get near to the gist of what I post. It seems more like a point a diversion, so I simply don' even respond to you most of the time. So i hope you don't mind if I don't. Enjoy!

And yet you still post on here where seemingly nobody "gets you" but you feel the need to win.

Still makes it all bollox, really doesn't it?

By the way, you need to work on your consistency. You've gone a bit rocky, when you look back to the original closed thread about Trump...

Okay. And you need to realize that this thread is neither about you nor me.

funny thing is, i dont consider myself a conservative at all. i leave that to the aging religious folks such as yourself.

we have very little in common indeed. just an uneasy alliance for now, while we ride out the babyboom.

That's exactly what worries me. Conservatives the world over seem to have no idea who've they've let over the threshold.

Donald Trump's snake story had a lot more truth to it than a lot of people realise.

Conservative "letting" and "threshold"? Sounds like fundamentalism to me, and I would have none of any sort.

I don't see anyone worshipping Donald Trump other that those who pay their fears to him. I personally hold the guy with suspicion, I don't even like his personality, I didn't even vote for him, but he makes me chuckle. I am impressed by the Americans choosing his proposition, and I'm looking forward to the changes up ahead. I'm more interested in the changes that will impact the performance of the US, and less on the megalomaniac man himself.

Those on the other side insist that you either fear him, or accuse you of worshipping him. I do neither. He's just a man, somewhat of an idiot at that, passing through.
