But how can you say that the schtick resonated better with the plebs when Hillary still won the popular vote by nearly 3 million?
Take away the votes from LaLaLand (aka California), and she lost big time.

Not to split hairs, but many vote margins in states where Trump won are small. This was no crushing mandate at any rate.

Lots worse places in the US than California.

Yup and good luck to them. They're more likely to get magma with the recent activity on the Ring of Fire.

If more evidence is needed that the Russians threw the election for the Republicans, take a look at this video of the Leningrad Cowboys/ Red Army Choir playing "Sweet Alabama". The Russian conspiracy supporting Trump was years in the making. Note the telltale Trump-like hairstyles:

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Trump will not be a good President. Look at his appointed team thus far.. Wall street may love him because of his exploitation and disregard for human and animal well-being. Oh, and one more thing.. He doesn't like the environment... Sigh....

Not disagreeing, but the evidence doesn't show that any votes or machines themselves were hacked. Just lots of media coverage and leaks intended to influence people's decisions.

If the Dems had chosen anyone except Hillary I wonder if the outcome would have been different in spite of the meddling? The level of dislike for her certainly made the job easier for the Russians and Republicans.

And if you took away the rest of the votes for HRC she got no votes at all.

And if you took Trumps votes, and doubled them it was a landslide.

loved how you added a smiley as if you had just delivered a crushing logical argument instead of complete nonsense.

I'm not that sure about this. The Democrats would have needed to pick someone who seemed to have very ties to D.C. But there's really no way of knowing since we don't know how the media, Trump's campaign, or Russian propaganda would have changed depending on whatever candidate the Democrats did pick.

I can't edit this, so I wanted to correct that it should be "very few ties to D.C."

I do think a different candidate would have stood a better shot, but I don't think it'd make too much of a difference in the overall outcome due to most of the reason Clinton was vilified is due to massive spread of misinformation.

Congratulations for posting the weirdest argument yet.
People vote, not acres of land

HC had 3 million more people votes than Trump.

For example, Trump won the largest state Alaska which has a land area of half a million square miles and a massive number of one person per square mile.
Hillary won the smallest state New Jersey which has twelve times the population of Alaska and twelve hundred people per square mile

I still cannot, for the life of me, comprehend that. Hilary is not perfect and has her skeletons in the closet, but I had a very hard time understanding why so much animosity towards her.

Even if she had done half the s*it PE Trump did, it still would not justify that level of ad personam attacks she had to stand up to, last but not least, the FBI "reveal" of a whole lotta nuthin' the day before the elections.

Whatever, what is done is done, the elections are over.

That is why, while I am somewhat bothered by the Russian affair, what really continues to bother me on a daily basis is the blatant, apparent disregard of PE Trump about issues of national security. He appears to be much more concerned about Twitter and bantering with Schwartzie about TV ratings rather than paying attention to the intelligence community and the actual, concrete threats that could affect our day-to-day lives.

That the wall - assuming it actually happens - will ultimately be paid by US taxpayers does not surprise me in the least. So will a lot other "policies" (in quotation marks) for which neither he nor his entourage have either a clue or a plan on how to fund them.

and congratulations to you on missing the point, as always. who cares about the acres, its just an interesting visualization that should make you think

if you look at the map you see it's primarily cali + a few spots along the coast that is hillary. she had a disproportionate margin in this immensely populous state that is driving the popular vote on its own.

basically: hillary won cali, trump won america.

urban vs the rest, just like brexit.

I wonder if Biden might have won as well. And while I don't find Hillary despicable, it sure seems she wasn't the best choice....and the US is left with a steaming pile of ethics free sh*t. So yeah, I think Trump will suck as president.
