Almost Friday | Quote: | | | | The Interior Department on Wednesday afternoon reminded staff they are not allowed to dress up as federal candidates for Halloween, including President Trump, according to an Interior Department email obtained by the Daily Beast.
The department wrote in a Halloween Day email to its staff that wearing costumes resembling candidates for "partisan political office" is a violation of the Hatch Act. | | | | | Source |

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | weirder upon weirder, the woman does not seem credible, she sent an email blast to multiple news organisations, there's no record of her working at a law firm with Mueller, she refuses to get on the phone and later changed her story to add Russia into the mix.
Also the allegations against Mueller stem from noted conspiracy theorist Jack Burkman and are supported by the recently set up 'Surefire Intelligence' which appears to be entirely staffed by fake linkedin accounts and has a contact number that goes to the answering machine of the mother of Jacob Wohl, a known associate of Burkman.
So the allegations look bullshit and the woman saying she was offered money to make fake allegations looks bullshit too. And the company investigating the allegations looks laughably bullshit.
I can't think of a scenario any of this makes sense unless there actually is an accuser and Burkman wanted to mislead the press so he could shout about fake news. Guess we'll find out on Thursday when he says he'll unveil his credible witness, who I fully expect to be a bearded Jacob Wohl in drag, possibly wearing a mourning veil because his puppy was mysteriously killed. | | | | | Vermont Law School professor Jennifer Taub, who has previously written for CNN's opinion section, said she too had received an email from an individual offering to compensate her "at whatever rate you see fit" for discussing "past encounters with Robert Mueller."
Taub told CNN she had never met or spoken with Mueller, and that she had forwarded the email to the Department of Justice. Source |

A lot has been said on all sides about the need to create a calmer tone, and set better standards within political messages and media so as to not inflame people.

What is the President implying in this tweet? | | | | | From CNN; In the most racially charged national political ad in 30 years, President Donald Trump and the Republican Party accuse Democrats of plotting to help people they depict as Central American invaders overrun the nation with cop killers.
The new spot, tweeted by the President five days before the midterm elections, is the most extreme step yet in the most inflammatory closing argument of any campaign in recent memory.
The Trump campaign ad is the latest example of the President's willingness to lie and fear-monger in order to tear at racial and societal divides; to embrace demagoguery to bolster his own political power and the cause of the Republican midterm campaign. Trump's name pops up in all sorts of unexpected places | Quote: | | | | The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced charges on Thursday against a Malaysian financier, Low Taek Jho, accused of using money from a state-owned fund to bribe Malaysian and Abu Dhabi officials and to pay for luxury goods in the U.S.
The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Low may have made payments using the laundered funds to a team of attorneys including former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) and to Marc Kasowitz, who has worked as President Trump's lawyer at the Trump Organization. | | | | | Source
According to a google search Kasowitz was retained to represent Trump personally in connection with Russian probe!

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? More fake news from Trump himself.
"US President Donald Trump says he always tries to tell the truth when he can, despite how the media portrays him.
"I do try," he told ABC News in an interview aired on Thursday. "I always want to tell the truth. When I can, I tell the truth."
Mr Trump has faced repeated criticism from US media and opponents for lying and distorting the truth around issues.
At times, conservatives have also censured the president for his claims.
"Sometimes it turns out to be where something happens that's different or there's a change, but I always like to be truthful," Mr Trump told ABC's Jonathan Karl.
The president also mentioned he was "pretty good" at estimating crowds during his interview, though one of the first times he clashed with the media was over the size of his inauguration crowd.
Since the start of his presidency, US media including the New York Times, Washington Post and Politifact have all kept running tallies of what they term Mr Trump's lies and misleading statements.
Politifact, which is owned by the nonprofit Poynter Institute, currently has 11 pages on Mr Trump's false statements." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-46061646

One left-leaning activist brought a giant inflatable rat wearing a wig that resembled President Donald Trump’s hair.
During Thursday’s press conference, Jacob Wohl defended his decision to create a fake company by saying it was an attempt to preserve his anonymity. He did not comment on why his mother’s phone number was listed as the company’s number or why he used pictures of celebrities to create the online profiles of fictitious employees. Source |

Amazing what rubbish Trump's base are able to swallow | Quote: | | | | President Trump suggested Thursday evening that foreign dictators could take advantage of birthright citizenship to make their children U.S. citizens.
“Many come from China, you might be surprised. China now is number one, we’re not just talking South America, Latin America, we’re talking about China, parts of Asia, it’s crazy.
Think of it, you’re an enemy of our country, you’re a general with war on your mind, you’re a dictator who we hate and who’s against us, and that dictator has his wife have a baby on American soil.
Congratulations, your son or daughter is now an American citizen. Does anybody think this makes sense?” he said at a campaign rally in Columbia, Missouri. | | | | | Source
In reality, a foreign leader has never had a child become a U.S. citizen through such a method, and were a foreign dignitary to have a child on U.S. soil, that child would not be granted U.S. citizenship under the Fourteenth Amendment according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Anyway the elephant in the room is why would a US enemy want their child to become an American citizen; it makes no sense?
