Did you know that she and her husband are special advisors to the President? He has a job in the government, I believe.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

A federal judge late Monday blocked the Trump administration from denying asylum to migrants who enter the U.S. illegally.

U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar, who was nominated by former President Obama, sided with opponents of President Trump’s policy, saying the president “may not rewrite the immigration laws to impose a condition that Congress has expressly forbidden,”

Source

The Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security had earlier published a joint rule prohibiting certain people caught crossing the U.S. southern border from Mexico between ports of entry from claiming asylum.

Ivanka and Jared have permanent security clearance. Hers was granted even though her emailing practice apparently was known at the time.

I guess that blows her chances of running for president.

The joke is Ivanka's excuse that she did not know use of private emails was not allowed and she was only informed late in the day.

Where was she when her father was regularly slagging off Hillary for using private emails? In a cave in the remote Himalayas?
Should someone so remote from reality really be a senior Presidential adviser?

Forget about that. You can see this level of nepotism only in some really, really....unhappy countries. It's not even amusing anymore. It's embarrassing.

True or false:

Partly true, partly false!

GDP is rapidly dropping from 4.2%, last quarter was 3.5% and 2.5% is forecast for 2019.
North Korea is not denuclearising, in fact on Jan 1st President Kim said they were going into mass production.
What improved trade deals? new NAFTA is not signed and unlikely to be signed
Dow Jones fell 1,000 points this week and it is only Tuesday, all major US stock indices below 1st Jan level.
N. Korea released 3 hostages but Iran still has 5

... and no mention of the great financial fundamentals that Trump inherited from Obama, and has since managed to squander.

Then there's all of Trump's reprehensible behaviour -- too many to lay out as bullet points on a badly designed, misspelled PowerPoint meme.

You see it all wrong:
The US Economy is now outperforming the Bitcoin.
No war started.
Snow storms in November: global warming has been stopped.
Iran has less hostages than under the Carter presidency.
And best of all: Hillary made sure that he will get a second term!

No. Trump compared the Kashoggi case with the Kavanaugh case. How dumb is this guy.
Now Trump repeats Saudi claim Kashoggi was an enemy of the state, very weird statement from Trump here.

Edit: By letting Saudi Arabia get away with the murder of US-based journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the President sent a message of startling clarity about how the United States will conduct its business in the world.

Trump signals US won't punish Saudi crown prince over Khashoggi killing
But more than that, by stressing the "billions" of dollars in Saudi investment in the US, Trump made clear that Washington has a price, that principles that generations of Americans have cherished, are for sale.

I think this isn't news and has always been so. When you allow grotesquely large lobbying to occur, everything is for sale.

You should be delighted, it took nearly two years, but finally Trump is behaving like a US President.

What's the outrage about to begin with? The US kill their own citizens abroad, without any semblance of due process let alone a trial and the possibility to appeal.

Should the Saudi have employed US help instead of doing the dirty work themselves?

Doing it in an embassy - a safehouse for your citizens in foreign lands - is absolute scumbaggery.
