Swiss taxis perhaps?
Taxi avoidance, or even evasion, I should think. Who needs a taxi when you've got The Beast on call?

Sounds like an "every boys dream car".
And then it's all ruined by details:
<<During a 2011 visit to Ireland, Barack Obama's Beast got stuck on a ramp leaving the US Embassy in Dublin>>

<<One of the few times The Beast has broken down was in 2013 when a driver put the wrong fuel into it while on a trip to Israel>>

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Quote:
Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called President Donald Trump "undisciplined" and claimed that Trump would often ask him to do things unaware that such actions would violate the law.

"When the President would say, 'Here's what I want to do and here's how I want to do it.' And I'd have to say to him, 'Well Mr. President, I understand what you want to do, but you can't do it that way. It violates the law. It violates treaty,'"

He went on to add, "He got really frustrated ... I think he grew tired of me being the guy every day that told him you can't do that and let's talk about what we can do."
Source

Meanwhile it is claimed FBI temporary head McCabe & Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein opened an obstruction of Justice probe after Trump fired Comey; before Mueller was hired.

Source

Also reported that Trump has signed a temporary Govt. funding bill so aborting his threat of a year end Govt. shutdown!

And we are still waiting for Mueller to file key documents today related to the cases of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and former personal lawyer Michael Cohen.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Mueller has now filed his Court documents about Manafort lying, you can read it here.

Actually not that interesting, the good stuff was redacted.
He lied about having no contacts with people in Trump administration but there are emails which show he did have contacts.
Also lied about contacts with Konstantin Kilimnik.

Edit
Big sigh of relief from Trump!

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Feds and New York both released their Court filings on Trump's ex-lawyer, Michael Cohen - bit juicier than Manafort's
New York Filing here so looks like any prosecution of Trump [for electoral felonies] would be from the New York US Attorney’s Office which protects Mueller in that firing Mueller would not stop this!
Mueller Court filing here

Some key points
  • NY; Formally stated Individual-1 is Spanky.
  • NY; Claims Spanky committed felonies by having Cohen pay two women.
  • Mueller; argues that the false timeline that Cohen laid out publicly and in his testimony — that the Trump Tower Moscow discussions ended in January 2016 — was a deliberate effort to limit the investigations into Russia’s election interference.
  • NY; Cohen privately bragged to friends and reporters, including in recorded conversations, that he had made the payment [to two women] to spare Individual-1 from damaging press and embarrassment. In particular, and as Cohen himself has now admitted, with respect to both payments, he acted in coordination with and at the direction of Individual-1. On approximately June 16, 2015, Individual-1, for whom Cohen worked at the time, began an ultimately successful campaign for President of the United States!
  • NY; a Russian national who claimed to be well-connected in Moscow spoke with former Trump attorney Michael Cohen in 2015 and offered “political synergy” with the Trump campaign
  • Mueller; Cohen provided the SCO with useful information concerning certain discrete Russia-related matters core to its investigation that he obtained by virtue of his regular contact with Company executives during the campaign.
Last word from George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway and a prominent conservative lawyer, responded to President Trump's tweet Friday evening that claimed new court filings involving his former longtime lawyer Michael Cohen exonerated him.

Quote:
Except for that little part where the US Attorney’s Office says that you directed and coordinated with Cohen to commit two felonies. Other than that, totally scot-free. https://t.co/YXmgY9KmXi

Trump's latest tweet...smh.

Yes, Spanky, you've absolutely nailed it. Those French protests are all about the Paris agreement. Loads of people wearing yellow vests, demonstrating against climate change and clamouring for more reliance on fossil fuels.

Trump has the comprehension skills of a woodlouse. And he calls Tillerson "dumb"...

AFTER TWO YEARS AND MILLIONS OF PAGES OF DOCUMENTS (and a cost of over $30,000,000), NO COLLUSION!
It is a bargain, much less than the cost of Spanky's golf outings since he was annointed inaugurated.

It gave us so far at least eight guilty pleas or convictions plus dozens of indictments for federal crimes, and a likely criminal prosecution against Trump.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

President Trump announced today Chief of Staff John Kelly to leave White House at year's end, no successor yet announced!

The White House revolving door revolves ever faster.

Why good people choose to work for Trump and risk their reputations is a good question.
The White House does not pay so well and in Trump's time this experience does not automatically qualify you for a great new job; unlike as was with former Presidents!

Watched Da Nang Dick Blumenthal on television spewing facts almost as accurate as his bravery in Vietnam (which he never saw).
As the bullets whizzed by Da Nang Dicks head, as he was saving soldiers left and right, he then woke up from his dream screaming that HE LIED.
Next time I go to Vietnam I will ask “the Dick” to travel with me!
But the Connecticut senator, Dick Blumenthal, has never claimed to have served in combat in Vietnam?

He did however say "Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York, independent of the special counsel investigation, believe that Donald Trump committed a felony that enabled him or at least helped him to become president.
Covering up those payments is part of what was done, part of the conspiracy in which Donald Trump is an un-indicted co-conspirator."

Sigh....

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

If you are having trouble sleeping then read the over 200 page long transcript of the private Congress interview with ex FBI director Comey from yesterday here.

Basically GOP people asking provocative questions and Comey hitting them away in a very low key and non combative [adult] fashion.

That tweet from Trump is (again) unbelievably juvenile and unbecoming of the leader of any country, let alone one as powerful as the USA. "Da Nang Dick"? "The Dick"? Seriously, Trump has several screws loose. I suspect that he sees the premature end of his presidency looming and the probable end of his marriage (which will be very expensive) in quick succession, and just can't deal with the situation in an adult way.

I'm watching an interview with Robert Mueller from way back, the guy is a boy scout, everything by the book, decorated veteran, scrupulously honest; the polar opposite of Spanky. It says a lot about Spanky fans that they put up with his attacks on Mueller and other folks cut from the same cloth.

While Trump's behaviour and phrasing is as low as always, your arguing is not gonna hold and therefore would only support Trump supporters:

<<Blumenthal did serve in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve during Vietnam, but his service never took him out of the country. In 2008, however, he was caught on video suggesting otherwise. Speaking to veterans in Norwalk, Blumenthal said, “We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam. And you exemplify it. Whatever we think about the war, whatever we call it — Afghanistan or Iraq — we owe our military men and women unconditional support.”

Several outlets went on to erroneously report that Blumenthal had served in combat — and he did not correct them until the New York Times published an expose in 2010 titled “Richard Blumenthal’s Words On Vietnam Service Differ From History.”>>

It is essential to have the facts straight when arguing someone doesn't have his facts straight.

As shown in the MSNBC video, in March 2010 (two months before the New York Times article) the then-Senate candidate directly contradicted his 2008 statement, saying that “Serving in the United States military gave me a perspective as well, even in the reserves, although I did not serve in Vietnam.”
