The FBI have released the memo summarising their first meeting with Flynn here. There is no indication of tremendous pressure or even of any pressure? | | | | | Sentencing delayed, how come Cohen is a 'rat' (yup spanky used that word to describe a witness) but Flynn was badly treated?, did Putin tell Spanky not to badmouth his chum Flynn.

Talking about "shame to spoil a good story with the truth" | Quote: | | | | President Trump's top spokesperson on Tuesday offered well wishes for former national security adviser Michael Flynn and said she had no reason to take back her claim he was "ambushed" by the FBI.
“No. We still firmly believe” that he was ambushed, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said when asked about her previous comments.
The White House and its allies have attempted to argue that federal agents entrapped Flynn by refusing to inform him it is a crime to lie to FBI agents. | | | | | Source
This despite Flynn himself disagreed with that argument in court today, telling the judge he knew it was illegal to make false statements to the FBI. | Quote: | | | | This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in. ~Theodore Roosevelt, 1901 | | | | | |

Rudy Giuliani, Trump's current attorney in the Russia investigation, told CNN on Sunday that "there was a letter of intent to go forward [Trump Tower, Moscow], but no one signed it."
CNN's Chris Cuomo obtained a copy of the signed letter of intent dated Oct. 28, 2015, which bears Trump's signature. It is also signed by the owner of the Russian firm that would have developed the property.

Drain that swamp, Donny boy.
Him spending $10,000 of his charity's money on a painting of himself at his golf club must be the most Trump thing that has ever happened.

Allegedly taking charitable contributions and using the money as a private slush fund is as deep in the swamp as you can sink.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | A federal judge on Wednesday struck down most of the policies former Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued that made it almost impossible for victims of domestic and gang violence to seek asylum.
He also ordered the government to return to the United States the plaintiffs who were unlawfully deported under the policy. | | | | | Source
You would imagine that with all the vast resources available to the Trump administration they could write policies that would survive their first challenge in a courtroom?
Or even better with a GOP Congress and President that they would have simply passed new laws so avoiding future legal challenges.
Now the House has a Dem majority they have squandered that opportunity.
Meanwhile Trump has apparently backed down on his Govt. shutdown and instead given Federal employees an extra holiday on Christmas Eve.
Chaos in the White House? What chaos?
There is also a long series of tweets from Trump complaining about the closure of the Trump foundation. NY Attorney General Underwood said "“Mr. Trump used charitable assets to pay off the legal obligations of entities he controlled, to promote Trump hotels, to purchase personal items, and to support his presidential election campaign.”
Trump continued his attack on the "corrupt Clinton Foundation" without offering any evidence.
There is an interesting Freudian based theory that people accuse others of faults that they themselves have which might explain his attacks on the "corrupt Clinton Foundation"?

The Federal Reserve on Wednesday raised interest rates for the fourth time this year, defying President Trump who has protested the bank's policies. Source
The Fed did not have much choice. Trump attacked them so many times that any other decision would have looked like folding to political pressure.
The Dow which had finally climbed over 24,000 today immediately fell over 300 points.
Meanwhile Trump decided to pull US troops out of Syria so leaving influence in the Middle East to Russia and Iran.

Yesterday | Quote: | | | | Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump We have defeated ISIS in Syria, my only reason for being there during the Trump Presidency. | | | | | Today | Quote: | | | | Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
Does the USA want to be the Policeman of the Middle East, getting NOTHING but spending precious lives and trillions of dollars protecting others who, in almost all cases, do not appreciate what we are doing?
Do we want to be there forever?
Time for others to finally fight Russia, Iran, Syria & many others are not happy about the U.S. leaving, despite what the Fake News says, because now they will have to fight ISIS and others, who they hate, without us.
I am building by far the most powerful military in the world. ISIS hits us they are doomed! | | | | | So ISIS was defeated yesterday but today are still fighting?
I believe Spanky lost the plot halfway through this sentence? "Time for others to finally fight Russia, Iran, Syria & many others are not happy about the U.S. leaving........"

Curious how many people live in Trump's alternative world, for example, 34% of adults believe North Korea has done more to end its nuclear weapons program in the past six months than in the previous 25 years.
Despite the N. Koreans themselves | Quote: | | | | North Korea says it will not denuclearize until the US eliminates 'nuclear threat' | | | | | Interesting statistics about how many Americans believe other lies.
