These failed redactions alleged Manafort had a meeting with Konstantin Kilimnik (a Russian political consultant who worked for Manafort on campaigns in eastern Europe) in Madrid, gave him campaign polling data, and discussed a Ukrainian peace plan with him - then lied about all of it.
Very normal contacts between a US presidential campaign manager & an alleged Russian intelligence asset.

Meanwhile the Russian lady that Don Trump Jr. met with in Trump Tower in 2016 was charged by federal prosecutors in New York with obstruction of justice in connection with an entirely separate money-laundering case that highlighted her ties to senior people in the Russian government.

Source
The perpetual insanity of this administration has a way of distorting reality - but this is genuinely nuts. It bears repeating that these are now the established facts:

>Trump's campaign manager shared campaign polling data with a Russian intelligence contact and discussed US foreign policy in the context of Russian interests in Ukraine.

>After being promised dirt on Clinton, Trump's campaign manager and sons met with an unofficial, but very real, representative of the Russian government at Trump Tower. They discussed relieving US sanctions on Russian officials (i.e. the Magnitsky Act).

>Simultaneously and subsequently to these interactions, Russian intelligence officers were hacking Trump's opponents, releasing stolen documents, and running a propaganda campaign all on his behalf.

I could go on, but there really isn't a need to.

This is collusion.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Why doesn't trump start a kickstarter campaign to raise the $5.7bnn for his wall? Then he can see if he has support or not.....

20 million-ish already poured in for his folly.

What's that about "a fool and his money are soon parted?"

This first picked up steam over Christmas. I wonder if many of these avowed Christians could register the irony?

Quote:
In the second chapter of the Gospel of Matthew, we read the story of the “Flight into Egypt” in which, after the birth of Jesus and the visit from the Magi, an “angel of the Lord” comes to Joseph in a dream and warns him to leave Bethlehem for Egypt (Mt 2:12-15). Why? Because King Herod was planning to “seek out the child to destroy him.” Mary and Joseph do leave, along with Jesus, and, according to Matthew, make their way into Egypt. Afterward, King Herod slaughters all the male children in Bethlehem under two years of age. This dramatic episode is part of the Gospel reading for the “Feast of the Holy Innocents,” celebrated on Dec. 28.

So, according to the Gospel of Matthew, what is going on? A family is forced to flee their homeland for fear of persecution. This is the classic modern-day definition of a refugee.

to put it in perspective, according to the figures on the gofundme page and his intro, that represents support for the wall stands at just over half a percent.

Hmmmm.....

Instead, it would be more efficient to use natural borders in combination with a gate. I'm thinking about something like Mordor.

That would definitely work

That gate was more of a east/west thing, though. South of Mordor were the "allied" haradrim.

Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forrest (sic) fires that, with proper Forrest Management, would never happen. Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!

How much somebody who cannot spell forest correctly knows about forest management is an interesting question.
I doubt he has the authority to stop FEMA sending money and anyway I doubt FEMA have the skills to determine if "they got their act together" or not.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Law of unintended consequences strikes again.

The president of the National Association of Immigration Judges (NAIJ) says immigration cases are at a standstill as a result of the partial government shutdown over President Trump’s border wall.

Immigration judges, who work for the Department of Justice, have been told that they cannot return to work or even volunteer their time until the shutdown is over. "Thousands of cases a day are being canceled".

As of the end of last November, the number of pending cases on the Immigration court's active docket topped 800,000, according to Syracuse University. That's almost a 50-percent increase since the end of January 2017, when President Trump took office.

Source

Meanwhile amongst the Government workers forced to work without pay (who would normally be paid next Friday) are the Coast Guard, Border Patrol, ICE, prison guards and the Transportation Security Administration.

Where would we get if we judged people's competences by the functionality of their spellcheck or color of their clothes...or skin, right?

Don't be hypocritical and petty.

Now that you mention Trump tower:
Thousands sign petition to rename the stretch of Fifth Avenue in front of NY's Trump Tower after Barry, to "President Barack H. Obama Avenue". That would affect Trump Tower's address, of course.

Don't worry, we are not judgng Trump on any of the above- but re his deeds and actions, that are a very strong and irrefutable indication of his ability. The above are just 'added devalue'.

No, not impulsive either - I did hesitate first.

But we digress. Could you enlighten us as to what you judge Trump on- and perhaps give us an insight into the good things he has achieved so far, please.

Yay!!!! At that rate, the Wall will be fully funded in just 6,555 days! That's a minimum of three presidents down the line...

Of course, Spanky as an alleged billionaire could kick start the funding!

Who knew the Senate had grown?

Quote:
The Senate currently has 53 Republicans, 51 Democrats and two independents who caucus with Democrats, so his confirmation is a near certainty.
