We have a massive Humanitarian Crisis at our Southern Border.
We will be out for a long time unless the Democrats come back from their “vacations” and get back to work.
I am in the White House ready to sign!
5:14 PM - 12 Jan 2019 | | | | | As I posted earlier tweeting phrases like "I am in the White House ready to sign!" come over as very weak. He is advancing the story that he is sitting in his office apparently powerless to act while everybody else is on holiday?
To support his public persona as a strong man he could be presenting the theme he is outside the WH banging on his bully pulpit and politicking for his wall, or am I missing something important!

Some side effects of the Govt. shutdown - J.P. Morgan has already lowered first-quarter GDP estimate to 2 percent from 2.25 percent. "The primary reason for the downward revision is the economic impact of the ongoing shutdown of the federal government."
- People missing immigration court dates because of the shutdown are being given new dates years from now, according to The New York Times.
- Employers can't use the federal system, E-Verify, to confirm whether workers are in the US legally.
- The US risks losing its AAA credit rating if the shutdown drags on, according to an executive with Fitch Ratings.
- Secret service agents protecting Trump are working without pay.

Emergency
1. a serious, unexpected, and often dangerous situation requiring immediate action.
This is batshit, if there is an emergency at the southern border (there isn't) then he doesn't get to decide to take action in a few days, there either is and he's failed to act, or there isn't and he's full of shit.
This isn't rocket science.

Spanky went to 'extraordinary lengths' to hide details of Putin meetings https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/p...es/2565471002/
"After meeting with Putin at the 2017 Group of 20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, Trump took his interpreter's notes and told him not to discuss the meeting with anyone, including other U.S. officials, the Post reported."
"No detailed record exists from five of Trump's interactions with the Russian leader since taking office, the Post reported"
Holeeeee shhhhhhh Spankman. This isn't suspicious behaviour at all,
'Good' president? really? seriously?

Trump has in the past touted the results of some Rasmussen polls, which generally show him with a higher approval rating than other polls and surveys.
He noted on Twitter last month that Rasmussen showed his approval rating at 50 percent.
So bit of a downer for him today that only 43 percent of likely voters polled by Rasmussen approve of Trump's job performance, his lowest mark in the poll since January of 2018, when his approval was at 42 percent.
55 percent of respondents disapprove of Trump's performance, including 46 percent who strongly disapprove. Source | Quote: | | | | Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
“Dems in Puerto Rico as Shutdown hits day 24.” @foxandfriends | | | | | And Trump is in New Orleans? So what, who cares where they are??
While interviewing President Donald Trump on Fox News Saturday "Justice with Judge Jeanine Pirro", Pirro suggested that Pelosi was shying away from resolving the government shutdown by taking a trip to Puerto Rico — a statement she later admitted was inaccurate. The Speaker’s office says she has been in DC all weekend.

More unhinged!
Considering this is the first time Spanky left the White House for weeks you might think the poor old guy would remember he was going to New Orleans in Louisiana, not Nashville?
If he ever gets the money to build his wall I wonder if he will remember where to construct it? |

“It’s a painful anguishing thing to acknowledge that the president of the United States is a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States,” - David Laufman, former head of DOJ counterintelligence.
Come on guys, it was a fun ride, but still believing in Trump after all thats transpired is not a good look. Is there one recognised expert who has anything good to say about him? any intelligence experts?, successful business leaders?, military leaders?, are they all wrong? all part of the deep state?

But if he would have done so, there would be a complaint that he preferred to give the deal to his own business.

Honestly, to feed a group of 19-23 year old college football players who really don't have to worry about diet for a while, I'm sure this was a great treat!
Sure there were a few picky eaters who maybe expected fancier, but you know that the twitter-verse could have spun a 'fancy' dinner (even if they catered cheap food on the silver platters) as 'OMG LOOK WHAT THE ORANGEMAN DID'.
Most of the pics I saw, it looks like a bunch of the boys were impressed and enjoyed it, which is the point of the event.

Another possibility was that he considered this option but rejected it and asked Melanie to prepare a meal instead.
Once he saw the meal, he decided to go for a last-minute hamburger order.
Now, the White House needs to eat the left-overs for the next days and Trump has to deal with a pissed Melania.

Meanwhile Trump admin keeps falling foul of the law! | Quote: | | | | Federal judge rules against Trump administration's plan to add 2020 census citizenship question | | | | | Source | Quote: | | | | Judge blocks Trump rollback of ObamaCare birth control exemptions nationwide | | | | | Source
Any appeals against these will likely be delayed as the federal courts are running out of funding due to the Govt. shutdown. Speaking of which | Quote: | | | | Trump shares oped blasting federal workers, calling for long shutdown
The op-ed's argument is that most federal workers should lose their jobs and that the shutdown should be a way to drive them out | | | | | Source
Weird way for a President to behave!
