Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe said in an interview he ordered an investigation into whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice.
Also that there were high-level discussions at the Justice Department about recruiting Cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office in the aftermath of FBI Director Comey's firing. Source
Trump responded with a tweet storm.
Meanwhile 69 year old Trump ex Campaign manager Manafort was judged guilty of lying to the FBI about contacts with Russians, likely his sentence will be extended and he may well die in jail.
One enduring mystery is why so many of Trump's associates lied to the FBI about their Russian contacts when these contacts were not illegal!!
What on earth were they thinking!!

If Trump makes it to the end of this term or even the next, he'll likely pardon the lot.
It's going to be a big list....

Spanky's early morning rage tweet about career professional Andrew McCabe
"Disgraced FBI Acting Director Andrew McCabe pretends to be a “poor little Angel” when in fact he was a big part of the Crooked Hillary Scandal & the Russia Hoax - a puppet for Leakin’ James Comey. I.G. report on McCabe was devastating. Part of “insurance policy” in case I won"
Funny the number of bad guys that come out of the shadows these days, Spanky really knows how to flush out a deep state operative.
He's losing it.

Two major losses against Pelosi!
The longest US Govt shutdown ever simply caused the Dems to reduce their Border Wall funding offer from $1.6 Billion to 1.3.
His corporate tax cuts were supposed to drive corporate investment, jobs and increase tax revenue. Actually they spent the tax savings on share buybacks and so pay no more taxes and so the US debit has now hit $22 trillion!
His trade wars with China and others has so far hurt the US more. The Chinese global exports last December were the highest ever! Plus he has no idea how to bring these wars to a successful conclusion!
Last October he was boasting how great is the new NAFTA agreement but it will not be implemented before it is approved by Congress; almost 4 months later he has made no attempt to obtain Congressional approval.
Finally he is deep under legal actions, both privately and politically!

Wait until he declares his state of emergency. Just when you think he can't make things more crazy... |

On the positive side, this probably means the end of Trump's presidency, maybe even before the end of his natural term.

First Mexico not paying for the wall, now him not losing 10-15lbs as he stated he would last medical (and gaining an inch in height since 2012, remarkable!), when will he next tell the truth on anything - anyone want to join my sweepstake pool? Dibs on 25th Dec 2019 when he tells his family he didn't buy them anything.

Trying to use the 25th Amendment to try and circumvent the Election is a despicable act of unconstitutional power grabbing...which happens in third world countries.
You have to obey the law.
This is an attack on our system & Constitution. Alan Dershowitz. @TuckerCarlson
4:16 AM - 15 Feb 2019 | | | | | Describing the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution as unconstitutional confirms your mental capacity comment better than anything I could post.
I believe Spanky will declare a state of emergency for the wall; not because he believes this will deliver the wall but as a cynical and calculated move that allows him to claim he did his best but the rotten Dems blocked him.
Likely that could backfire and cause him to be seen as weak!

President Donald Trump issued an executive order Friday 1st January 2019 freezing federal workers' pay for 2019, following through on a proposal he announced earlier in the year.
The move nixes a 2.1% across-the-board pay raise that was set to take effect in January. Source
The Bill sent to Trump today to sign to fund the part of the US Govt that was shut down includes a 1.9% pay rise for federal workers.
Trump is really getting out manoeuvred in the last couple of months.
