Money. Money made from golf courses around the world.

Unfortunately, our president's attitude of say what you think, who cares if it's blatantly false and/or hurtful/hateful, and the us vs. them mentality seems to seeped into everything. It's truly getting to a point beyond words.
Talking of which!

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

Virtually everything failed lawyer Michael Cohen said in his sworn testimony last week is totally contradicted in his just released manuscript for a book about me. It’s a total new love letter to “Trump” and the pols must now use it rather than his lies for sentence reduction!
Not only is there no "just released manuscript for a book" but a manuscript does not even seem to exist. Cohen was certainly trying to sell the idea of writing a book supporting Trump but how far he actually got with writing such a book is not known.

Who are the "pols"?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he's going to be a great President.
The limb broke off a long time ago. Hope you did not have any lasting injuries

Neither the baking nor swimming forums I am on give a flying fandango about Trump so your assumption is wrong. However, I would counter that every forum has a ‘sweeping-statement-numpty‘ lurking on it...

There's that word "numpty" again. Hadn't come across it for years then someone used it on another of my forums and now it's come up about 3 times in a very short space of time. Obviously making a comeback.

Guys, you have forums???
I think checking this one a few times per day on average is already too much...you must be great at multitasking. :-)

In my defence, I never was much into semantic ant-ing.

This forum, GD forum, TQF forum, Steam GD forum, TQAE forum though not on that quite as often. Then when the GD devs are live streaming I'm leaping between all of the above and that too answering questions, commenting, etc. It's a mad house. And that doesn't include the GD and TQAE forums over on GOG. Oh and forgot the Discord for GD and TQF as well.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

This one has already more drama than I can deal with. A few years ago I made an account on a moms forum and it depressed me even more than this one. Luckily I forgot the password and was too lazy and demotivated to recover it or to get a new account. As I said, this one is my weird, unexplainable and really guilty pleasure. Was thinking to quit it more than a few times or more than I can remember but it's addictive like hell.
Medea, seriously, real life can be fun too. Not judging at all, as I can explain this addiction perfectly...I'm just a bit worried..

If there were things I wanted to do in real life I'd be doing them don't worry. It's just that I'm really involved in my two favourite games: Titan Quest and Grim Dawn. Watching the latter grow from one man's vision into a great indie company who's made a game right up there with the big players has been great fun. I playtest for them and also moderate over on their forum plus answer stuff on their Steam and Discord sites as well. For Titan Quest I've been playing that for over 10 years, now technically own the new titanquestfans.net website and also have some other involvement in the game which I can't talk about, being under an NDA.

Was it the Yahoo group "expatmoms-in-Switzerland"?

Worth the read but wouldn't have dared post anything. Rabid.

Also can't remember my log-in any more but I wonder if they also have a Trump thread on there. Probably lost in all the rest of the craziness.

"Numpty" is a fine and long-standing Scottish epithet which is not used outside Scotland nearly as much as it is inside. Apparently it was voted Scotland's favourite word recently.

Is it Groundhog Day?

I suggest he uses this "life threatening illness" as a reason to step down from office.

Time for a wee doc and doris? Or maybe you already did?

Meanwhile I am not sure impeachment is a great idea because then you get Pence?

Quote:
George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, said Monday that it would "unquestionably be grounds for impeachment" if President Trump ordered former White House economic adviser Gary Cohn to pressure the Department of Justice to block the AT&T-Time Warner merger.

"If proven, such an attempt to use presidential authority to seek retribution for the exercise of First Amendment rights would unquestionably be grounds for impeachment," Conway tweeted.
Source

On the other hand I have an uncomfortable feeling that if Trump is not voted in for a second term then he would declare the vote illegal, refuse to step down and refuse to leave the White House!
