| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | More people need to pay attention to the nuts and bolts. | | | | | Yep. Untill then, good luck. DT's win is logical.
Anyways - fake news stir some fun. What is even funnier, nobody blinked an eye (or "paid attention to nuts and bolts") when infotainment and edutainment so efficiently prepped the terrain. For a decade or two.
General optimism mostly prevails (except the times like DT "surprisingly" winning or Bexit), so garçon, I will have what they are having, svp |

More people in jobs or education or starting companies means fewer giving up on life and thus getting into crime, drugs and nasty situations with the cops. | | | | | Yes, either connected or not, but that's not the point. It's not clear ( ) from Phos' post HOW he intends to quantify his "improvements".
It's ok, I'm not expecting any kind of sensible answer which doesn't contain some kind of " selfimportant" (sic) rambling but I thought I'd ask the question anyway. | Quote: | | | | | That's a good point, but it also depends on the wager. It could also be a truth or dare wager.

Nurse, Meds! | | | | | I was wondering if this is some kind of mix up with being told at some point you are somebody's "Mr Right" and nobody having the heart to point out that you got the wrong end of the stick...

Considering you've been doing your damnedest over the last hundred pages to make the topic all about you, you should be happy someone is finally indulging you. | This user would like to thank for this useful post: | |

(or until he gets impeached)
This is exactly the sort of shit slinging circus we need after decades of repetitive politicians. Just imagine, all the problems in the world and a press conference takes place because someone said he likes seeing hookers piss on each other.
The fact he's slightly camp really adds to the show. | | | | | The press conference was planned before the "allegations" for Trump to explain how he would solve his conflicts of interest issue but the event was hijacked by the "allegations".

Let's face it, in the American mindset politicians are getting up to far worse then paying for a couple of pros to pee on each other. I doesn't take much to distract the easily distractable from the real issues!

are you saying that team trump deliberately fabricated the piss story knowing that buzz and cnn would bite so they could then divert from other perceived issues by attacking buzz and cnn instead?
instead of say, cnn deliberately running with the story in order to make him talk about it on the coming presser not expecting it would blow up in their own face?

They impeached Clinton for a BJ, after all. | | | | | Aughh, I almost forgot this another ugly episode from American politics..."I did not have sex with that woman" and the grotesque details..truth to be told, Hillary was quite brave to candidate..unfortunately, by comparison with his own personal life, Trump didn't look that bad after all.
Picking their candidates the way it seems they do will keep the democrats out of the game for another 2-3 mandates.

The stupidest thing Trump said in the press conference is...
"Hacking is a relatively new thing."

The meme of "Fake News" was designed to attribute to the likes of Breitbart. Yet he took a question from Breitbart right after labelling CNN.
In an instance, the whole "fake news" meme was turned against MSM.
Say what they will, but as a tactician, that was a remarkably brilliant turn around. If Trump continues to operate in that way in other arenas, he'll do just fine.
That was intrepid.

Don't pay attention to the Trump circus. I mean, if you enjoy the grotesque, sure, go ahead.
Imho, which is that, just an opinion, keep an eye on Congress....they are using the circus to deflect attention.
ETA: oops, am repeating self.

Yet he took a question from Breitbart right after labelling CNN. | | | | | And therein lies the problem. Breitbart produces almost exclusively fake news. I don't know enough about CNN to say whether that is the case there or not, it seems unlikely from what I've seen of it in the last few days as to whether it is anywhere near as skewed as BB though.
It seems true news from sources he doesn't like is labelled "fake", whereas "fake" news from sources he does like gets a pass. Sad.

Yet he took a question from Breitbart right after labelling CNN. | | | | | To be accurate, Trump refused to take a question from CNN's Jim Acosta but did take a question from CNN's Jeremy Diamond.
Trump also made the comment "BBC? That's another beauty" when questioned by BBC's Ian Pannell. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38565127
What is worrying is, today we have reports coming from Russia that the Kremlin believe Trump and Putin will get along. At the same time, we have reports that Russia are viewing the arrival of US tanks in Poland as a threat.
This is just one link, but if you don't care for the news source used, by all means Google 'U.S. troops Poland' - select News, and choose your own prefered news source. | Quote: | | | | President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the BBC that the move "threatens our interests and our security".
"It's a third country that is building up its military presence on our borders in Europe," he said. "It isn't even a European country." | | | | | http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-38592448 |
