Sarah Huckabee Sanders will leave her post as White House press secretary at the end of the month, President Trump announced on Thursday.

What sort of new job will a serial liar find?
She says she wants to spend more time lying to her family.

On the other hand, she stood up in front of the world's press knowing what she was saying was utter nonsensical bollocks, AND knowing that everyone else knew it was utter nonsensical bollocks so with that level of blind loyalty at the expense of your own credibility and self-respect, she's probably going to be snapped up...

need to check the batteries in that irony detector?

and by the number of likes that post got, there must be a whole batch of defective ones out there.

and that on a Trump thread.

Trump in Wonderland!

Quote:
President Donald Trump said again on Tuesday that he has worked out a further [secret] agreement with Mexico to slow illegal immigration into the U.S., showing reporters a piece of paper which he says contains immigration plans which can be triggered by him at any time in the future.
Of course, the cameramen with their super high quality equipment took photos of the piece of paper and are now publishing extracts. Not surprisingly, no new secret agreements just boring detailed stuff already published.

It would be pathetic except he has the "bigger" button to start nuclear war!!
The sneaky Mexicans have now released a copy of the letter he was waving around and it confirms "no secret agreement".

Source

Spanky's efforts at claiming he is a great deal maker get evermore pathetic.

Edit:
Quote:
Mexico's president nominated the country's director of prisons to lead the country's National Immigration Institute after its director, Tonatiuh Guillén, resigned Friday.

No reason was reportedly given for Guillén's replacement, which came days after he was named head of a new effort to slow migration from elsewhere in Central America through Mexico to the United States.
Who wants an impossible job!!

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Surprising Supreme court decision today to keep the rule that people can be prosecuted under both State and Federal laws for the same conduct.
So if Trump pardons somebody guilty under federal law then the prosecutors have the possibility to prosecute under State law which Trump cannot pardon.

Trump tweeted today that Iran will break the limits on Uranium stocks; but the idiot cancelled the Iran nuclear agreement so there are no limits today for Tran to break!

The idiot cancelled the involvement of the US in the Iran nuclear deal. All the other parties to the deal (formally, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) are still participating (and as late as last month, Iran was certified as complying with the terms of the deal).

So the limits still apply, it's just that now it's down to China, Russia and the EU (plus the UK, whether in the EU or not) to enforce them or determine the consequences.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Trump 2020 campaign launch

One major departure from the 2016 campaign launch: Cable news networks did not air much of the president’s Tuesday night speech. Although Fox News carried the entire event live, CNN only aired six minutes of his remarks and MSNBC did not carry any of it.

He will struggle without the oxygen of publicity!

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

The 2020 launch was in Orlando, the main local paper wrote
“Some readers will wonder how we could possibly eliminate a candidate so far before an election, and before knowing the identity of his opponent. Because there’s no point pretending we would ever recommend that readers vote for Trump,” the editorial board wrote.

“After 2½ years we’ve seen enough. Enough of the chaos, the division, the schoolyard insults, the self-aggrandizement, the corruption, and especially the lies.”

The Sentinel dubbed Trump’s “successful assault on truth” as “the great casualty of this presidency, followed closely by his war on decency” and said the commander in chief “has diminished our standing in the world.”
