Trump on CNN- " she said to me she was drinking a little bit". WTF Trump Now he paints her as a alcoholic.

Got to admit though-she's HOT!

And he complains that she revealed private info about his family!

Attachment 137588

Thats one for Madeleine!
I doubt revealing private info about his family is an adequate ground to fire a Federal employee?

More deep irony! I love it!

One would have thought that Donald Trump would be delighted to pose for photos with overweight people. It might distract from his own obesity.

(It wouldn't work with Tiffany, though, as she is far from overweight.)
He's not obese. Thats his bullet proof vest!

Which he might not need if he wasn't so thin-skinned.

In other news: Intelligence photo displaying hitherto secret surveillance capabilities tweeted by clown in chief to mock Iran. "Lots of analysts counting pixles in Beijing and Moscow today"

A number of Trump's White House staff are not federal employees in the traditional sense. They're "advisers", not subject to traditional civil service rules. I'm not sure which his assistant was. Even so, I wonder if WH staff are a special type of civil servant anyway, serving at the pleasure of the president. Most WH staff don't transfer from one administration to the next, so they're unique.

I‘m not sure, but I think you‘re correct. They‘re not the regular GS system employee.

I also read that Trump‘s a cheapskate - he paid this person 130K/year, while Obama paid the person in the same role 170K/year

The relevant law is "3 U.S. Code § 105. Assistance and services for the President".

The President has a lot of freedom to choose WH people without following many of the rules like "no nepotism".
But they are federal employees in every sense of the word.

It is possible for Trump to hire people and pay them himself, example - his many lawyers, and these are not federal employees.

So far as is known, Trump is too mean to pay people to handle traditional WH work as his private employees on his personal payroll.
There are also complexities in trying to give security clearances to non-federal employees which mostly rules out this concept.

About "Most WH staff don't transfer from one administration to the next" sure, there are some months between election and inauguration which should smooth the transfer of work load.

To be sure he tried it on with her. Now he's fired her and the sordid details will eventually come out! ( unless he paid her to shut up)

Tough situation for Donald, he probably paid to open her up, now he's got to pay again to shut her up

In addition to Florida - South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated. Looking like one of the largest hurricanes ever. Already category 5. BE CAREFUL! GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

I think it might have been, as I understand it the structure of the image gives useful information to those in the know about where it came from and either it means the satellite imagery is higher res than previously thought or the US is using drones and if drones then they are trespassing in Iranian airspace and US intelligence would rather the Iranians didn't know that, or at least that it could be denied.

Such a phony hurricane report by lightweight reporter @jonathancarl of @ABCWorldNews.....
He later corrected @jonathancarl [not] of @ABCWorldNews to @jonkarl of @ABCWorldNews.

Then
Quote:

....@business @ChuckGrassley @joniernst @debfisher @BenSasse Making great progress for our Farmers.....
He then later corrected @debfisher (who has 11 followers) to @SenatorFischer

Meanwhile the global stock markets bounce around as conflicting news messages emerge from Trump, WH & China!

Amateur satellite trackers say they believe an image tweeted by President Trump on Friday came from one of America's most advanced spy satellites.

The image almost certainly came from a satellite known as USA 224, according to Marco Langbroek, a satellite-tracker based in the Netherlands. The satellite was launched by the National Reconnaissance Office in 2011. Almost everything about it remains highly classified, but Langbroek says that based on its size and orbit, most observers believe USA 224 is one of America's multibillion-dollar KH-11 reconnaissance satellites.

satellite expert "I imagine adversaries are going to take a look at this image and reverse-engineer it to figure out how the sensor itself works and what kind of post-production techniques they're using,"

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Poor old confused guy had to correct a tweet address again

After copying a statement of support that ran to three tweets finishing with
Quote:
........The U.S. has been subject to Tariff Terrorism for 50 years. But a real deal can be done.” Sam Zell @joekernencnbc
He had to correct Sam Zell @joekernencnbc to Sam Zell @JoeSquawk.

Third such correction in three days
Who knows what a mess he makes of his official documents.
